I’m excited everyone get a the discount but super bummed that we had to wait an hour for this same coupon. I think the headline “so successful it failed…” fits best here 🙂

    • M

We arrived before opening waited hours and there where thousands ahead of us (they must of slept overnight for a teddy bear) and our consultation coupon wasn’t as good (quicker expire) but we accepted because we where guaranteed by staff that there where not enough bears for anyone else past a certain point though we walked back by after shopping seeing the same people in line next to us in the same place some asleep in the afternoon.

  2. Ali

How much are the bears on average without all the extras?

    • Stephanie

They have several non licensed bears for $13-$16, and you get it stuffed free. The licensed animals (my little pony’s, paw patrol, Pokémon) start at $28. So you can still get an almost free bear…if your kid chooses one of those. They also have clearance clothes and accessories sometimes.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

They start around $12 and go up from there. Hope that helps!

  3. Cb

Thank you! We’re not able to go today but since I saw the previous post about build a bear closing all lines I guess we really didn’t miss out. I’m glad to get this coupon for my 8yo son. Thanks again!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m glad too, Cb! You’re most welcome!

  4. moria

Thanks! I got a coupon. I went, but the line was WAYYY TOO long even my 6 year old said she didn’t want to wait. I’m glad we at least got something, even though it’s not as good as the original offer.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      I agree! You’re welcome!

Is there a spending minimum? Wondering if I would be able to get a free to $5 bear.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi there! I am not finding a spending minimum listed in the details. Hope that helps!

  6. Rose

I have an old account and new one both got the coupon. What I did notice was it had same code Does anyone know if you can use one coupon per child?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Rose! The details include – “one coupon per Bonus Club Membership” and “one coupon per transaction”. Hope that helps!

    • Danielle

We had the same issue w our coupon were u able to use both?

  7. Jessie

I always have to get my head right with these deals and think… how much do I make an hour…k I’m not not standing in line that long to save 20 plus bucks… gladly accept the voucher. that time spent in line I could be doing so many other things on my list when time/life just keeps getting faster. so happy about the voucher so we can enjoy the experience when it calms down

  8. Ana

Can I use the coupon at a bab outlet?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I don’t find anything in the details that excludes that, however you could always call in to your store before heading out to be certain!

  9. Rachel

Just created an account and printed the coupon. Unfortunately it says “Limit one coupon per membership account”.. Was anyone able to use more than one coupon for more than one kid? I have two little ones I would love to use one coupon for each. Thnx!

    • amy

I created one for my husband and for 2 coupons total so we can do it with both our kids😊

Does anyone know if the Jurassic Park dinosaurs are included in this?

    • vb

how would anyone know? the coupon just came out and so if it doesn’t have the details printed on it, no one will know more than you do about it…

    • Scarlet B

The Jurassic Park dinos are not listed in the exclusions, so they’re probably included. If the store tells you they’re excluded, I would just politely point out that they’re not listed on the coupon.

I heard there was a birthday discount for your childs birthday, but I logged into my account and cannot find a place to enter their information. Does anyone have information about this and where do I enter the info? I tried to call cust svc, but the line was busy and I am unable to get through. Please help. Thanks so much!!! 🙂

    • MrsBK

Am wondering this as well. I emailed them yesterday but didn’t get a response yet. Please post info here if u are able to find out. Thanks

    • Christine

You just have to have an account, then go to the store and let them know that you are celebrating a birthday and let them know the child’s age. You don’t have to show proof of age. Here is the link with all the details and FAQs at the end. Bummer the birthday discount is on for their “Birthday Treat Bear”, not for any build a Bear like yesterday’s promotion.

      • Christine

*discouny is ONLY for the their “Birthday Treat Bear”

      • jhlmom

Christine, thank you very much for your reply and link! They helped a lot! Have a great day! 🙂

  12. Scarlet B

I printed my coupon, but I’m not sure if we’ll use it. My kiddo has so.many.stuffed.animals! Nice to have the option, though.

    Thanks for the info!

Getting a $15 coupon to come back is great. Who in the world would wait in line with a toddler that long anyway. Id rather join the membership, clip a $5 coupon and go when its calmer for the kids to enjoy. And then the outfits. We had so many andit was always $40. Plus.. where r they now..? Perspective is key.. dont worry they will be happy when you go.

  16. Andrea

Does anyone know which build a bears were included in the age promotion? It says on the coupon you can only use it on bears that were included in the promotion.???

    • Stephanie

Any bear in the store was included that day. The only exceptions for this coupon are their brand new bear collections that haven’t made it to stores yet. New collections are Barbie, Hot Wheels, Power Rangers, Kabu and Jumbo bears. Coupon is not valid for those.

  17. Maggie

Can this be used on clothing only?

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

No, it’s good for a”Make Your Own Furry Friend”. Hope that helps!

  18. Ashley Harnish

can someone send me this email? I tried logging into my account, even tried resetting the password twice and it’s still not working. I drove an hour to get there, had to see the over 4 hour line and drove the 1 hour straight home. This email coupon would be greatly appreciated. harnish1102@yahoo.com

  19. Mallory Piner

I do not think that $15 off does justice to customers like myself and my two children (4yrs and 9yrs) that waited in line over 3.5hrs only to walk away with nothing but a scrap piece of paper- It would have been my children’s first visit to build a bear. They should have been prepared for the crowds, but were not ANYWHERE close to being ready. Horrible customer service at the Crabtree Valley Mall location in Raleigh, NC. Very disappointing. They should give out pay-your-age coupons!!

  20. AustinTX

With this $15 off coupon, you can get several kinds of bears for free or very cheap…how is that not better than paying your age? You chose to make small children wait in line for hours, by raising their expectation that a bear was promised when it wasn’t. Either way, BAB is still making up for it by giving your kids free stuffed animals now…this is more than fair, it’s very generous! Some people are just never satisfied unfortunately.

    • Cass

Absolutely agree with you. I felt bad for BAB because some people can be so rude. What a way to extend this o everyone. I think they did a great job handling the situation. Makes me proud to return.

  21. Melinda Vest

I need a coupon emailed to me , it’s not letting me login to my account
