I’m on of the suckers still in line- 7.5 hours and counting, lol. We got here an hour before they opened.
It’s all good. We Made some good friends and had some good laughs honestly!
Most have been super nice. What upset me was the jerks walking by filming all of is including the kids and no it was not the news crew.

She said she WOULD do it for a million dollars.

I’m not offended at all; and I agree people acting entitled is ridiculous. Just like any deal–it doesn’t last forever and can’t be offered to anyone just because they want it. I’m just pointing out everyone is in a different situation, and to each his own. I waited with three little kids in air conditioning for 1.5 hours to get stuffed animals they’d otherwise never get since I think BaB is crazy overpriced. I don’t think it was a ridiculous use of my morning, but I gaurantee some will think it wasn’t worth saving $75 over. It was for us! Just maybe not another family. Stuff like this just brings out a lot of ugliness online and in person. I literally witnessed two crabby moms yelling at each other in line over one kid bumping into the other kid.

It’s great that you were able to get your kids their bears. I personally wouldn’t wait in line with my kids for 1.5 hours to save $75…we’d just buy a more affordable toy at a better time or go without the overpriced stuffed animal. Many can’t afford retail price on BAB yet they still chose not to attend this event b/c spending the day waiting in line w/ our kids for something that might not even work out just isn’t a priority, regardless of the discount. Clearly it was worth the wait for you though, and that’s fine. We all have different things we value, be it our $ or our time- no hate or judgment in other commenters pointing this out. 🙂

My little one did great no meltdowns or anything but we didn’t get a bear. I did bring snacks, and water and enough to share! It was fun to make new friends.

1.5 hours to save $75?! Heck yeah that’s a good deal. How much do you all earn an hour, anyway? 😂

We waited 3 and a 1/2 hrs one of those hrs was before they opened everyone in line with us were super sweet that was no cut throat people at least what I saw so our experience was not bad I do feel bad for those who were still in line when we left they were told a 6-7 hr wait at that time

We spent 6 hours in line for two bears. I said when the kids lost it, we’d leave. They made friends and played and I chatted with the adults around me. Clearly the savings was not worth 6 hours of time, but the kids said it was crazy and exciting. I remember waiting in line for cabbage patch kids and now they will remember this wacky day at the mall we had. Our store was well organized and stocked, and the employees were really kind.

Aww! Such a great way to look at this. Glad it worked out well for you and your kiddos. 💓

We were lucky, we were 12th in line at a little before 8 am, store opened at 8:51 am, got our 2 unstuffed and out by 9 am. The line was wrapped around the mall as we left. It was crazy!!!

Hubs and kids woke up and got to our BAB 2.5 hours early & were in the first 20 in the store. They said it was madness how many people were there.

  10. JackiWolfe

I’d pay my age to NOT have to deal with that line! 😆

  11. Heather

My BAB didn’t close. I took my 5 yo after I got off work. we got there close to 7pm and were in the store by 730pm. left the store before 8pm. they did stop the lone at about 815pm though. There was still tons of animals left.

This was a wonderful idea by this company. Especially for the families that normally never could have afforded it for their kids…but they definitely could have planned better. Such as doing different ages on different days to help lighten the mass crowds. It may mean that families have to come back more than once, but maybe it would have moved faster.

Its crazy to think theyre response was response to sale was unexpected and overwhelming!! Negative!!

Sad that parents would make their kids stand in line for 6 hrs. for a dumb bear. There are better ways to spend that time with your children and way better things to do. Spend $ on going to the zoo or something active, not on some material piece of consumer garbage. I’m sure these kids will play with the bears in less time that they spent in line to get one. These bears will eventually end up on garage sales or the Goodwill. Didn’t waste time or money on this.
