Does anyone know if Apple watches will be on prime day ?

    • Betty

      Wondering the same thing!!!!

    • Sam

I just bought one from Kohl’s and got $60 Kohl’s cash plus $50 back from ebates if you want to get one now and see what happens then!

      • Rachel

I did the same thing with my Apple watch purchase and bought it through Kohls. Does anyone have an idea if Prime Day will have the iPod Touch on sale? My son has been saving and wants to get one this weekend but if there is a chance Amazon will have one on sale, then I’d like to wait.

      • jac

Anyone willing to share details? What model did you buy? Were you able to use any codes? What was the final price? What was the offer that got you $50 thru ebates?

        Thx in advance!

Im really hoping for a great deal on a robot vaccum

    • bullet12

Bed Bath Beyond to me has the best deals on IRobots since you can use there 20% coupon along with a sale price. Not to mention how they stand behind anything you purchased from them. I had the 635 model that I purchased from a yard sale for $10 and it lasted a year and spoiled me! So once it broke I purchased the 980 model from Bed Bath and Beyond and got an awesome deal using the 20% coupon paired with a sale. I had to return the first two within a few months and did not have one problem returning it. I have had mine now for about two years and can’t imagine life without it!!! It will spoil you. Every home needs one. Hope you are able to get one. You want regret it!!

    • ReneeAnn

If you don’t find one and if you have a Kohl’s card then I recommend using the 30% off code on the Shark Ion robot vacuum. That’s what I have and I love it better than a Roomba.

      • Traci Williams

Agreed, I have been through 3 Roombas and finally tried the Shark. SO much better!

    • Julianna

The Neato Botvacs are already on a good sale on Amazon, no need to wait for Prime Day. I just purchased the D3 two days ago for $200, which is the lowest price I’ve seen for it in months.

  3. Elizabeth.M

    we need a carpet cleaner!

    • SKS

Look at hips yesterday post on the Hoover steam vacuum at Kohl’s I think it’s 80.00 or 90.00 ( reg 239.00) with the 30 off plus Kohl’s cash and 6% ebates. I purchase it last time they had it list and love it. It did cost a little more when I bought it.

  4. Heather

I’m excited but I wish it was done on the weekend!! 🙂

I ordered a 159.00 pair of ear plugs on a lighting deal for 29.00 and thought that was a great deal but I also put them in my saved account to maybe get them for the kids in the family and noticed the went down the next day after the lighting deal to 14.99. So I called and canceled the order and then ordered the cheaper ones. They were identical. I thought the lightning deals were the cheapest that they ever go.

    • klvnh

You can look up the item or url at to check the price history of items on Amazon. Many of the lightning deals are submitted by third parties on their products (sometimes it’s just fulfilled by Amazon but sold by a third party) so they can adjust their prices whenever.

    • Sisi

      Not necessarily.
I personally haven’t bought anything these past two prime days.

  6. mabfab

Amazon has a giveaway for an Apple Watch. Go to Amazon and then type in Amazon sweepstakes and they have daily sweepstakes where you can win stuff every day. I saw the watch on there today. Sometimes you have to watch a 32nd video before you can enter the drawing. Good luck everybody

  7. Mary

I am anxiously waiting for this day!!!!!!

  8. Carol Gatei

    Great deals at Amazon…

  9. Betty Hurd

This is not fair. I will be in the hospital having surgery. So I’m gonna miss out of everything

    • Carling

I’m so sorry you have to have surgery, but most hospitals have WiFi! If you are feeling better, maybe you can shop a little on a tablet! Just tell your family members not to let you shop too much with pain meds! You could come home from the hospital to a brand new house! LOL

How does the Whole Foods $10 Work?
I’ve gone to Whole Foods twice during this deal timeframe, and I’ve spent over $10. I haven’t received any notification from amazon and don’t see it on my account.

    • Kayla

Never mind! The email went to spam 🙄

      • J

Hi! Was your email titled “You’ve got $10 just for Prime Day!” ? That’s what mine was titled although I don’t see a promo code or any way to actually redeem the $10. I’ve ordered so many items today and late last night, after Prime day had begun – do I need to search through all my orders to see if my credit was redeemed? =/

  11. Joyce

I’m new to Prime and not clear how this Prime Day works. If I’m looking for a particular item do I have to just keep looking all 36 hours to see if it goes in sale?

  12. Jen

I am a prime member and love Amazon. That said prime day has been pretty lame in the past so I wouldn’t worry about missing it. Also I just listened to a really interesting Reply All podcast talking about fake reviews and third party sellers on Amazon. So be careful when you order that you know who is selling you the item and take the reviews with a grain of salt.

    • dana

agreed. a lot of reviews on amazon are fake. many people get free items in exchange for a 5 star review. the more positive reviews the more stuff they get.

      • Mindy

As an Amazon seller, I can tell you this is no longer the case. Amazon cracked down on fake reviews about a year or so ago. Much, much harder to get reviews nowadays from anything other than a straight sale.

    • Jen L

There’s also the option to filter only verified purchased reviews.

Is anyone else unable to access the prime day deals? I’m totally locked out. I keep getting a message with different dogs that says “uh oh something when wrong on our end”

    • Lee

I also can not access the deals. Been trying for over 30 minutes now on two different devices😡

    • Mary

I have not been able to get it either.. I am tired of trying without success. I am also seeing the dogs.

    • Emilymoto1

so glad someone said something I’ve been freaking out, so glad I checked on here!

    • Emilymoto1

really disappointed with Amazon right now 😒

  14. Mios3

Is anyone else having problems seeing the prime day deals? I keep getting an error message “that something went wrong on our end” 😔

  15. jo

Just lost everything in my cart. It deleted everything!!!! This is maddening! So much for preparing ahead of time!

  16. nicole

    oh, amazon. how disappointing.

  17. Charity

Oh Amazon , why must your site crash on prime day. I need my deals

  18. Mary

Oh well, since Amazon Prime is not working let’s take a sneak peak at Target’s Tuesday one day sale items.

  19. hipsaver2

My sister told me how it was down, but seems to be working now.

  20. shop4mybabies

Amazon has a long history of treating their employees like poo on a shoe. Not their corporate employees but their hourly workers who are the workforce and backbone of the company. If you are from the Seattle area, as I am, they also have a foul history of fighting against projects that help the homeless, projects that benefit the city, and as a notoriety for fighting dirty to be the biggest and the best. Unfortunately as a mom of 4 on a budget, I am often torn between my moral conscious and getting a deal for my family. I try to take the moral route most of the time. I gave in tonight and purchased two pairs of clarks work shoes for my husband, they would typically cost me about 200$ and I paid 65 for two pair. He walks a lot through Seattle to get to work and he wears his shoes out quickly. These two pair will carry us until the end of the year…I’ll be morally high tomorrow 😉
