I discovered this a little bit ago! It worked on my “the happy planner” planners!!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      OOh! Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

  2. KeriB

Are these good prices or will we see lower for crayons and markers? Our church gathers backpacks for donation and we do one each year.

    • ummyusuf

      I’m wondering the same thing

    • kaila

this is more then likely the best deal the use to have penny deals at staples and office max but they stopped doing them a few years back. now they just have there sales that mostly match these prices.

  3. carrie

I was waiting for this! Thanks! So this is going to be a couple of transactions huh because it’s max of 4 per transaction. :/

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yes, this offer will apply for up to 4 items per transaction, up to 6 transactions per day. 🙂

  4. May

I see “limit 4 items per transaction” and also says “6 cartwheel offer per day”.
Does that mean as long as I separate the transaction I am allowed to buy 24 items in total?
I would like to finish up for school supply.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Yes! That’s correct!

      • May

        Awesome!
In that case I am going to go through self check out line and separate the transactions then!
Thank you very much for letting us know great deals!

        • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

          You’re very welcome! 😉

Does anyone know how the up & up markers and crayons compare to crayola?

    • Brinkleye2

They seem to work just as well for me. I got a bunch for our church

    • StephB

Honestly, I’m not a “brand snob” but there are some things it doesn’t pay to buy generic for longevity of the products, etc… I would stick with crayola for markers, crayons and colored pencils and elmers for glue. That is also what our teachers request and really they know best!

  6. PiratePrincessMommy

Does anyone know how the Up & Up supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils) compare to crayola?

    • MommaNguyen

      Thanks!

  7. candace

Art teacher here. Agreed. many other teachers donate off brand markers to me bc they aren’t very good. Off brand crayons either. Do they work? Yes.. but the crayons break way easier and the markers dry out more quickly. Crayola is worth a bit more personally.

    • PiratePrincessMommy

Thank you!!! It’s good to hear it from an art teacher. I know i don’t like the rose art brand but, was just wondering about the Up and up specifically

  8. cary

Does target have any colored copy paper or is that best bought at Office depot/staples?

  9. PiratePrincessMommy

I agree. I am a teacher as well and always have preferred these brands; at the same time, if Up & Up is just as good then i can saw some $$$ while shopping for my classroom (on my own dime)

  10. crystal

I went this morning and my local target didn’t limit the 15% off to a certain number of items. it applied to all of my school supplies which was well over 20 items

    • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That’s great crystal! Glad you were able to stock up using the Cartwheel!

  11. Samantha

My husband is going to be a first time teacher starting at the next school year k-5. I wanted to go ahead and start buying some things he would need any advice on what I should start stocking up on now? Thanks so much!

    • Heather

Hi! I teach K-5 SE. We use a lot of markers, pencils, glue sticks and eraser tops. It really depends on what type of classroom he teaches. But I am sure these are staples in many classrooms :). I hope that helps!

      • Samantha

        Thanks 🙂

  12. Nichole

Meijer is running a good deal on school supplies

  13. Jem

Is this a YMMV deal? I was just at my Target today and the Up & Up Crayons were 55 cents (which was more expensive than Crayola. Lol) and the Up & Up Colored Pencils were 79 cents 🙁

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Prices could very depending on your store. I’m so sorry you weren’t able to find these prices at yours!

    • Nicole

Scan it with your ap and they will price match target.com. That is how I got crayons for .25. I also got the 15% off the price matched items up to 20 when I used cartwheel.

  14. Amber

Are the colored pencils a 24 pack or 12 pack? The picture shows a 24 pack, but description says 12 pack.
