anyone know if this is good if you bought an echo product yesterday? and if you already subscribe to Amazon music? thanks!

Call or email amazon customer service and they will take care of it for you. They are very easy to deal with on things like this.

Thanks for asking. I bought several yesterday and wondered the same thing.

  2. Lexie

I was wondering the same thing. I bought my devices yesterday

  3. Hippy

I think so. I thought I read the same thing yesterday on Amazon’s page.

Hmm, I read on Amazon’s site & it said “Echo device owners for (Amazon music unlimited) are only charged $3.99 a month”
Yesterday I finally gave in &did buy an Echo & today I’m reading that “New subscribers” get Free 6 months, which is great… just wish I could figure out which part of Amazon is “TRUE?”
    Help someone, please?? 🤪

It’s 6 months free for new subscribers, then $3.99/month if you have a “one device” plan (aka it will only play on your Echo.) Otherwise I t’s then $7.99/month. I believe the $3.99 for one Echo device is their “regular” deal and the 6 free months is a Prime Day special.

I am chatting with them now about applying the promotion to the Echo Dot I bought yesterday and am not getting very far. They gave me a link to the 4 month for .99 cent promotion and told me to click that after I received the dot (that link expires today). I explained that wasn’t what I was asking about and now I’m being told I do not qualify for the promotion because the Echo Dot I bought (also 29.99 at the beginning of Prime Day) wasn’t one of the “eligible devices”. They are telling me if I want the promotion i need to cancel yesterday’s order and reorder at this link.

Keri is right. I just did the same thing. I bought an echo and the nightlights yesterday. I had to cancel my order from then and re order under the link today. They could not add the promotion and that was the only way to get it. Be warned!! If you got it yesterday, you can not get the 6 months promo no matter what the device.

Ugh, how frustrating. I guess I’ll copy/paste their own terms and conditions to them because it says echo devices purchased by 12AM 16 July to 12AM 18 July. I couldn’t have canceled my order if I wanted to today since the shipping notice on mine came to me overnight.

good idea I wasted over an hour via chat and got no where. it ruined my entire day.
