    For those considering purchasing — these OXO containers have the recycle code 7. The codes to be avoided for contact with food are 3, 6, and 7. Only recycle numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5 are somewhat safer for food.

      What brand of sealing container do you use Josie?

        I use Pyrex glass containers with lids. And Mason jars of all sizes for pasta, etc.

      #7 plastics that are listed as BPA free (like these) are perfectly safe for food storage. They are probably acrylic, which is fine.

    For any Costco members looking at these, i was able to snag the 12 pc set for $59.99 a few weeks ago. I think they’re still on sale at the store. Happy shopping everyone!!!

      The one at Costco are ‘soft works’. But these are ‘good grips’. Supposedly the good grips are a bit better in quality…
