Thanks so much for posting this! Ive been wanting to join for a few weeks now. I just missed the last one you posted and almost caved in and paid full price for a membership with no perks! You guys are awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, thanks so much for the sweet comment! You are SO very welcome!

Are there ever better deals around December? I want to get one but I want to try to find the best Deal I can.

    • Nikki

This is a super awesome deal, you’re getting -$10 off the top and getting $25 in giftcards and chicken, pizza, & cookies. Basically a free membership. You can such precious deals by searching Sam’s club membership in Hip2Save search it will bring up the old deals and you can kind of gauge from there if it’s worth it for your family.

      • Sarah

What do you mean, you’re getting $10 off the top?

        • Nikki

Reg. membership cost is $45 Groupon is for $35.

    • Nikki

Sorry my phone automatically corrected. My statement was, You can search previous deal (pass deals for years back) on Hip2save.

    • Julie

Hello! When you consider the gift card, money off online purchase, and freebies, you are basically getting the membership for better then free! You can’t really get much better than that!

    • Angela

I joined when the team posted the Zulily deal and it has been great! When you go to member services for your card make sure to do the “scavenger hunt” to get even more freebies. It was just a random flyer that they handed us with the current mailer. We got a free a rotisserie chicken, bananas, a triple berry sundae and a pizza/pop combo meal all for free. This is on top of the freebies that I already got for joining.

  3. Sara

Don’t forget the new member treasure hunt within the first month of membership for the primary member. I’m not sure if the game is still going on.

  4. Jen

Thanks! Have been waiting for one of these again!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re welcome, Jen!

The terms say that you will be opted in to the auto renewal program. Does anyone know if you can cancel this option once you sign up?

    • Anscruggs

I downloaded the sam’s club app and noticed under my membership detail there was an auto renew option. I just selected not to auto renew. Hope that fixes that but I will obviously keep an eye on it to make sure. Hope that helps!

      • NYorker

Glad for the heads up on the auto renew. I don’t remember that they did that the last time I had a membership. Once you go into your account, it is easy to uncheck “auto renew”. We all just need to be aware that Sam’s is doing this.

  6. Erinsmithrva

I’m confused, is it for regular membership? Bc that only costs 35$ normally? Is it a good deal bc if free things that are coming with it at this time?

    • Scarlet B

The regular price for a membership is $45, so this deal is $10 off that, plus you get all the freebies. Even if you won’t use the pizza, cookies, and chicken, the $25 worth of gift cards brings the price down to $10.

  7. Kristina

FYI — Your $15 eGift Card will be delivered approximately 7 business days after your first purchase of $15 or more on SamsClub.com. So you have to spend another $15 to get the $15.

    • Scarlet B

Kind of a bummer, but it seems like ordering online for in-store pick-up should work to release the gift card?

      • Lisa

Great catch, Kristina, and I was thinking the same thing too Scarlet… Hope it works though. We don’t order much online.

  8. Jamie

I purchased this groupon, but it isn’t showing up under my groupons. How long does it take to show up?

    • Dorothy

I have the same question. Usually, Groupon purchases show up right away for me. Now I’m not sure if I actually purchased it or not, because I don’t want to miss out on the deal.

    • Scarlet B

Has it shown up for either of you yet? It might just be taking a bit longer to process–since it’s such a great deal, I’m sure it’s very popular.

    • Pam

Click on your ALL tab in your my Groupon’s. Mine showed up under that tab and as refunded. Idk what the deal is but payment won’t go thru.

  9. Scarlet B

My membership expired in March. I’m going buy this in Hubby’s name, with me as complementary cardholder. I’ve heard that this works to get around the 6 month requirement for expired memberships. Fingers crossed!

From the Groupon Sam’s Club deal FAQ:
My spouse is a complimentary member on my account. Can they use this offer to start their own account? Yes, complimentary members are eligible to become primary members when they purchase this offer.”

    • Brittney

My husband had a card under my name. Is that how yours was?

  10. Dorothy

I finally received my confirmation order.

  11. NYorker

Thanks for the info. I was just shopping for a Sam’s Club membership deal yesterday and when I searched today, your website came up so I clicked on through. I have enjoyed going to your site often and today is a happy dance day!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m so happy you decided to stick around! 🙂 You’re very welcome!

  12. riss

is it $45 or $85 for regular membership? The post said $84.97. Sam’s Club is 2 miles from our house, and Costco is less than 4 miles, and our membership expires at the end of the month. I don’t know if I should try Sam’s Club and let Costco expire.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

A Sam’s Club membership is $45. The $84.97 value includes all the extras. Hope that helps! 🙂

    • Amber

Riss, it depends on what you are shopping for. We have had a Sams AND a Costco membership for years and really like both places. Sams club is MUCH cheaper and offers a greater variety of items for times we needed to be aware of the budget a little more closely. Costco has “better” quality items and amazing bakery/prepared foods, but are a little more costly. We easily spend $150 – $200 even just “running in” to Costco to buy a few needed items and were pleasantly surprise to fill our ENTIRE cart during our first Sams trip for just over $100.

  13. Abby

Y’all don’t forget to get 8% cash back from Ibotta or 6% cash back from Ebates!

    • sara

Yes, def go through Ebates, cash back is so easy & adds up fast! join here ebates.com/r/SQ6766

  14. neecieboo

    thanks a bunch!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  15. Jackie

Thank! Just got one. Needed a new membership since ours expired 2 months ago. It was under hubbys name so I used mine this time 😉. On another note- totally not related to sams- just received an email from chick Gil a saying they will not have their cow calendars anymore 😩

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Jackie! Happy you could snag the deal! Such a bummer about the calendars! Thanks for sharing!

  16. Jackie

    OMG chick-Fil-a hate autocorrect

  17. alicia

With one membership can you get two cards with different names on it?

  18. Lisa

Is anyone having trouble getting this deal today? I tried 3 different methods of payment and none of them will work and I know there isnt a problem with the payments so what ideas do you have for me to try? I contacted support but they couldnt get it to work either. I really was excited and hoped that I could get this deal. It would be my first sams membership. Thanks Lisa

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer. Are you using a mobile device? Sometimes that can create issues. If not, maybe wait a moment and try back again. Hoping you can grab it soon!

      • Lisa

I tried all my devices laptop, desktop, phone, and ipad. Nothing is working for me

    • Pam

I had the same trouble. I talked to someone thru the online chat and they were abole to get it to work.

  19. Renee

Don’t throw away Valpak if you got in mail recently. There is a new different deal from Sam’s Club!…”Join now as a new Sam’s Club member for $45 and receive one free rotisserie chicken every calendar month for 12 months from the date of joining”. So membership is practically free if you buy rotisserie chicken monthly! There is a code on it for an associate to enter when you go in store. Not sure if it is same as others. Offer valid for a limited time only. One-time use only. Offer valid in-club only. Valid for members who join between 7/1/18-8/31/18.

  20. julie

i have a coupon for in store $20 off, plus you get $10 cash back from CHECKOUT 51, making it $15, if interested email me at signaljulie@yahoo dot com. will mail out immediately.

    • Roma

Hello Julie Will you be able to mail me that coupon

  21. Jenny

Awesome! I’ve been waiting for a deal to get a new membership. Perfect!

  22. Tracy

You can use the $10 Sam’s Club gift card on gift cards online. I ordered a $20 Domino’s gift card online for $18.98 and applied the $10 Sam’s gift card so it cost me $8.98. Since I ordered over $15 online I now get a $15 Sam’s gift card which I am going to apply to another $20 Domino’s gift card. So with this Groupon deal I will besides the chicken, cookies and pizza which are worth $20 have gotten $40 in Domino’s gift cards for $12.96!

  23. Katherine L.

Has anyone actually received the $15 eGift card after online purchase yet? My 7 days from purchase is today and I haven’t received anything yet.

    • Christine

I too have not received my other $15 gift card. And it is now mid August.
