I bought 10 of the Crayola markers and colored pencils yesterday for donations. Also picked up 10 Elmers washable glue for $.50 each. What do elementary teachers like for hand wipes? I was thinking that might be a good donation too.

We don’t use wipes. I can imagine that would be quite expensive. We just use hand sanitizer before recess and before we eat. They wash their hands after they use the restroom or if they would prefer to wash over sanitize.

A lot of schools post their supply lists on their web sites- you could see what schools around you ask for. My daughter’s list asks for a pack of baby wipes and clorox wipes (she’ll be in kinder)

    • Rae

Many teachers use Clorox wipes for sanitizing desks, light switches, etc.

Flushable wipes are great for classrooms.

Our school supply lists always have wipes on them. I like getting the Seventh Generation or GreenWorks wipes in 3 packs when Hip2Save posts Amazon deals on them because I like to use them in my bathrooms.

Ours asks for inscented baby wipes. Since we have two in diapers I always just ran down from my stock for each of my kids classrooms. They also ask for Lysol/Clorox wipes.

My lanta! Auto correct! Unscented baby wipes* and I always grab some from my stash. Haha

Kleenex is always welcome.. I am a retired high school librarian. I kept Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and hand lotion available . The students were very appreciative but it gets expensive out of pocket. Don’t forget your high school folk. Some of my students had very little money for the basics.

I was able to get these prices through the Walmart grocery app. Woo hoo! 🙂
