ššAs a hygienist this is sooo scary!! Do not attempt to clean your own teeth please!! Youāll end up jacking up your gums! We go to school learning to do this for 2 years for a reason people!
As a hygienist myself as well, I couldnāt agree with you any more! Boy oh boy does this make me nervous.
I was just thinking, is someone out there doing this themselves lol! I wouldn’t dare! š
People do this that come and complaint about the gum is recessing or hurt. But the most funny thing is that you can also buy a drill and do filling yourself in Europe apparently
Oh my! Who is sticking their own teeth with that stick thing?!
Judy say no, kids! As a Dental Hygienist this is a bad idea.
I use similar tools to weed vinyl(cricut, silhouette) make a it much easier to get fine designs on shirts or wall secor
I was just going to suggest this also – great for the cricut and less expensive!
As someone who is not a hygienist I wouldn’t trust myself with those tools within 10 feet of my mouth. Yikes!
sounds like the main character in a Stephen King book would be interested in these.
I got it for the mirror. I’ve been wanting one to look at my teeth in the back
Yeah, I would never use these on my teeth. I use them for crafting!
Thatās a great idea!
This is an interesting find, but as a dental hygienist, I donāt recommend using these instruments without proper training. Keep going to the dentist for your cleaning. š¤
I use these type of tools for crafts too! They hold up well; not for home dentistry!
That really scary š±
My wife is a Hygienist and this was her comment, “Piece of crap kit. They don’t even have the instruments labeled correctly.”
As a former dental hygienist, I would also add that this kit doesnāt even include the proper instruments (scalers) to do the job! In addition, thereās need for the tweezers. I would not recommend this purchase!
No need
Got one for my crafting needs!
Please for the love of your own teeth donāt buy this!!! Thereās a reason we go to dental hygiene school! And none of those instruments are what we use to clean, nor are they labeled correctly. I had a patient poke a hole all the way through his tooth making a āwindowā in a front tooth. Needless to say his Walmart set went in the trash.
