Does anyone know what happens with Kohls cash earned in a transaction when one the items purchased is returned?
For instance, if I had earned $10 for spending $50 and was going to return a shirt I bought for $10.49, woukd I only receive $.49 for the shirt if the KC was already spent? Or, would the return cost of each item purchased be a prorated amount based upon the KC received?
Is it possible to get merchandise credit for the $10.49 so that I could keep the KC?
Also, if I bought Carters clothes last March for my baby but they don’t fit, can you do an even exchange of one $26 5 pack of onesies for another $26 5 pack of onesies in another size/style?
The same exact style pack of onesies that I purchased in March is no longer sold. I could just get a refund. However, I got a good deal in March with a big baby sale. So, I would rather exchange for an item of equal value. Also, I don’t remember if I received KC and I don’t want to return an item if I’m not going to get much or any thing back.
Yes, they will deduct the Kohl’s cash (if you spent it) from your return. Kohl’s is good about exchanges – you can exchange for anything in the store with the exact same tag value. So if your onesies say $26 on the tag, you can exchange for anything that is also exactly $26 on the tag.
