I like how the slim fit jeans fit on my son. However, last winter, I bought 5 jeans and only 1 pair made it through the season without getting a hole in the knee. (We live in the south, so the winter is pretty short.) I have never had that problem with any other brand. In fact, most of his clothes before this were hand me downs and had been worn by several boys and stayed in tact.

The jean quality is quite bad. My son is not at all rough on his clothing and the jeans that I bought him from The Children Place ripped in the knee area after only a few wears. I avoid buying him jeans here now.

quality is not that good. I bought them last year and only couples of months, the knee parts are broken. And he didn’t wear it everyday. probably 2 times per week at the most.

The quality on childrens place jeans are poor.
I bought two pairs the jeans were thin for fall or spring
Weather only. I did purchase from osh kosh bgosh online
I hope there quality did not go down.

I bought 5 pairs and love them. So issues yet.

I have never had a problem with Children’s Place jeans, I’v bought them for years my oldest being 20 and youngest being 7.
I wish they would go back to little kid look instead of punk look but that is just me, Carters for tops, Children Place for bottoms.

Do you think we will see better sale prices for boys jeans? On a tight budget and I remember seeing $5 and $6 jeans in the past.

      6.99 isn’t that different than $6?!

This past year, I also noticed a decline in the quality of jeans. Similar to what others have mentioned, holes at the knee after a season’s worth of wear. I love a good sale, and still purchase their uniform tops. However, I”ll jump on sales from Old Navy/Gap instead.

*My input is no reflection on this HIP2SAVE post. I appreciate knowing about ALL sales.

Agreed! I’ve always been a fan of TCP jeans but this past year when every single pair of jeans tore at the knee or crotch. And they were not worn daily or too tight. Never had a problem until this past year. I will buy jeans from Target, ON, etc now (I will still buy tops from TCP).

Recently the jeans I’ve bought for my son from the childrens place have ripped from the knee after a couple months. Usually he outgrows clothing but not jeans from the childrens place because they dont last too long before they rip. I got some Levi jeans for my son around the same time as these and they haven’t ripped, they’re still good.
