How can you tell if a subscription is auto renew..it did not ask for any information and said my subscription is on its way

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi there! The auto renew applies to the magazine subscriptions that require a fee and additional surveys in order to grab them. Hope that helps!

    • Debbie

I only order the free subscriptions (no processing fee) and have never entered any credit card information. I often get renewal notices by postal mail, but just disregard them.

I also have given magazine subscriptions to family members, school libraries and city library just by changing the name/address to the intended recipient(s).

It wasn’t this particular site, because I have not used this one, but has anyone run across getting magazines you did not order come to you instead of what you did? I do not know which company did this to me. I got a few magazines I would never order. It seems like such a waste. If they are not going to send me what I selected, they should email me and say it was not available or something. I donate all my used magazines to the library for them to sell, so it will not go to a complete waste, but it is surely disappointing.

Yes, it happened to me this year for first time after I got many right free magazines in the past. Agree with you that they should let me know if they couldn’t send me. Not sure who or how to stop it but I gave away to friend.

Are there any children magazines offered for free?

    • Rae

Only totally free kids magazine I know of is the LEGO Life Magazine. Just google “Lego magazine free”.

I’ve received Family Fun magazine for free a few years, but currently ValuMags (where I get most of these freebie mags) is not offering it for free. It is a great one for crafts the whole family can make and I enjoyed the mag.

Rewards Survey offers Sports Illustrated Kids for free. After you select a magazine, an offer from blue dolphin pops up for $2 magazines. Both High five and Highlights are offering 6 issues for $2.

I get approximately 15 free magazine subscriptions thanks to Hip2Save! Never pay for them anymore….it’s wonderful! Thanks Hip2Save 🙂

That’s a great way to get your magazines! 😉 You’re very welcome!

I received Rolling Stone & New York magazine without ordering…don’t know how to stop it & I’m still getting them months after the subscription expiration date. I have to race to the mailbox before my children because those two in particular don’t always have the most appropriate cover photos😬

    • Bunny

mlrenda….I also get some magazines that I didn’t order as well. For those magazines I don’t read, I’ve simply gone on to the magazine’s website, filled out a change of address, then “gifted” the subscription to someone I know who will enjoy it. Would be a shame to waste it, right?
