Thank you for sharing! I’ve worked for Enterprise for over 17 years. Such a great company and these weekend deals are such a bargain!

You’re very welcome! How neat! Thanks for the feedback, Amy!

    • Beccaox

Amy if you have worked for Enterprise for so long then you would know that this actually isn’t a good deal as the “weekend special” use to start at $9.99 and I was able to take advantage of this long time running deal only just months ago…..

This post should instead be written as “ Enteprise increasing weekend special rates on all car class sizes offered”

Beccaox… My grandmother always said ” Its not the message its the delivery”. I think you are being unkind.
The ladies that run this sight do an AMAZING job based on the information they find. If you dont like how they worded the post my suggestion would be to start your own website.

I tried to rent a car for music festival a few years ago and wanted to include a Monday and it was going to be outrageously priced. Now it’s 2499 a day and that’s amazing! I booked immediately! They are my life savers!

  2. liz

when I’m at the reservation screen it says that it’s only 300 miles and .20 cents a mile after that.

    • Tia

Yes, the weekend special rates don’t include unlimited mileage. They’re just meant for people to get around locally on the weekend.

  3. Evan

Looks like the message was directed towards Amy… and Beccsox was stating facts..

Take what you can, appreciate it and exit bud. No need for negativity here and don’t instigate it 👍🏻

  4. Ruby

I would not believe one word of this, they’re motto should be, Enterprise we’ll rip you off

I’ve had a couple bad experiences renting from Enterprise, but I have also had wonderful experiences. I have learned to take videos and take pictures before leaving the lot. And I do a thorough walk around with the agent on camera. You can buy the extended insurance from a third party instead of the rental company. Happy travels everyone!

I think being able to rent a car for $12.99 is a deal! Yes, the price is up but so has the cost of a car and the expense to maintain them over the past 10-15 years.

  7. Amy L.

Yes the price has gone up, but the deal is still good for those that need weekend transportation. The cost of cars and maintenance has increased over the past 10-15 years also.

Hip2save ladies are my life savers I mean!!!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the sweet comment, Delms! I’m so glad you were able to grab the deal when you’re needing it!

  10. Irene

If the price isn’t reflective on my booking, does that mean I’m not in a select location? Or do I need to wait until August 24th to book?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That may be, as this offer is available for select locations only. You should be able to reserve now for travel beginning August 24th. Hope that helps!

      • Irene

Bummer. Thanks for all you do!!!

        • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

          You’re very welcome! 😉

I’ve always love Enterprise and took advantage of their $9.99 special quite often — I don’t mind the small increase; still a great deal!

  12. Bridget

I would highly recommend checking all possible vendors even when you see these advertised rates. I found much better deals for my rental this weekend through Budget and Avis. Unlimited miles midsize SUV Thurs 5p through Monday 5p.. $165 which was A LOT cheaper than Enterprise. For $20 more (total not per day) I could have upgraded to a full size Explorer. Always search for discount codes and see what works best.

  13. Melody Lombardo

    Dealbreaker: limiting miles.

  14. Shari M

Our location was always 12.99 and pre-cana me cars now they’re 17.99 is the lowest weekend price

  15. george de ruyter

Is milage included and is it by or on the orange county airport ca

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

It does appear to be available for the Orange County Airport. Also, there is a limit of 300 total miles. Be sure to click through the link above to grab more specific details for your rental! Hope that helps!
