These chairs get bad reviews on Walmart.com, and from my kids. My daughter’s teacher bought them for reading chairs, and had to throw them out after 3 months of use because they were leaking beads out everywhere.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh darn! Thanks for the honest feedback, Lindsey!

  2. Margie

I won’t buy them anymore as they very quickly lose their shape and became a flat mat instead of a chair.

    • Kim

Agree! We bought one and within a couple of months became flat , did not hold their shape at all.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Bummer! Thanks for the heads up on these going flat so quickly. 🙁

    • sue

yes. I have 3 flat ones. I’m thinking of buying more of the beads to stuff into it.

That’s one of the many reasons I love Hip2Save to read reviews of others experiences with products. I keep looking at these in Walmart and almost purchased a few times but after reading the reviews of others I’m so glad I didn’t. Thanks ladies

has anyone found a good bean bag for a good price? looking for Christmas. TIA!

    • Lmb

Hi Shauni, if you’re looking for a beanbag for a child I recommend ECR4 kids 35” beanbags. They’re used in many schools, nursery, daycare
centers. I bought a couple from Amazon a year ago and I highly recommend them. They also have smaller sizes. You can’t beat the quality. Super durable, easy to clean and they retain there shape. Mine are used everyday and they still look new. Love them!! Price is around $71.00 for the larger ones. They’re not cheap but worth every penny and come in multiple colors:)

I bought 2 a couple of years ago and within a 6 or 8 weeks they were flat. I salvaged them by stuffing them with old pillows and clothes we were going to get rid of. I actually warned a lady that I saw pushing one around in her cart at Walmart about the poor quality.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews on this site because I so appreciate everything you all do but this bean bag becomes a pillow after a few months. The beads flatten quickly and it’s just not worth it. Walmart has an oversize bean bag (no name) that I purchased around Christmas time and it’s still in good condition.

I agree with others , I bought two of these and they were flat within a monthđŸ˜©

    thanks for the info!

Same bad experience here. My mom gave one to each of my kids. They went flat quickly & she felt so bad she bought an expensive bag of more beads. Stuffed those into the chairs & soon enough they were flat again. A waste of money.

    • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! Thank you for sharing your experience with these CJ! Sorry to hear they went flat so fast.

  10. Steph

I have two – they are pretty flat. They were Gifts so I feel bad throwing them – material on the outside is super heavy duty, if you wanted to plan on refilling them… I don’t think I’d buy them

    • Lindsay

If your children have an over abundance of stuffed animals like mine put them in the chair. Serves as storage and a chair.

    • Liza (Hip2Save Sidekick)

We sure do appreciate you sharing your honest feedback Steph! Sorry to hear they weren’t a hit. 🙁

  11. Tati

Agree. Bought 2 for my daughters room. Flat and out of shape in a few weeks. Refilled them with more beans and they never went back to original shape. Tossed them out

  12. BJMeadows

Used very little and they are worthless.
