Wasn’t there a post not too long ago about how bad these “flushable” wipes are for the plumbing/sewer system? What would you encourage use of this with the promotion?

      • reader

That’s true – but maybe you should include that link/info in the promotion in case anybody did NOT read it last. You can both serve the greater community AND give those who’d like to use it WITHOUT flushing the promotion. Just a suggestion.

I appreciate these deals. My husband had surgery 2 years ago and was told not to use toilet paper (too rough), but wet wipes instead while he was healing. He still prefers wet wipes, so I like to grab whatever brand that I can get cheap after q. We had our plumbing upgraded several years after Hurricane Katrina, and was told then not to flush wipes down b/c they could lead to problems. So the kids were taught to toss them in the trash at that time, so hubby did the same when he started using the wet wipes.

Please don’t flush these things even when they say they are flushable. My cousin is a plumber and he gets a lot of work cleaning these out of people’s homes.

Flushable wipes are a plumber’s best friend! Have a friend that had thousands of dollars of damage with pipes and septic system.
