Does anyone know if this lamp will work with Gelish Polygel???? It is a thick gel to do nail enhancement, that cures under lamp. Sorda like acrylic nails, but it is a gel product.

I spoke with the company on the phone and naturally, they are telling me it only works with their lamp. Im sure thats not true, but if anyone knows please fill me in….thanks

The details for the Gelish curing lamp, as follows:
Gelish Harmony 18G Professional Gel Nail Polish and Polygel LED Lamp
    (18) 2 watt LED lights [= 36 watts] Bulbs never need to be replaced….

    • Carrie

I have an off brand lamp and use gelish

      • Eileen

So, the Polygel is much thicker. It is thick like an acrylic nail would be. Was a great price so i ordered it. Hopefully it will work…

        thanks

    • Workaholic

It should work, apparently polygel needs 36w to cute and this one is 48w

      • Eileen

        thanks…yes prob. will work

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! The code is no longer valid for me either. 🙁 Thanks for the heads up!
