Time for Slime Fun on Your Food!

If you are headed to Walmart, keep an eye out for Great Value Nickelodeon Slime Sauce.

This tomato ketchup features a vibrant green color that resembles slime from the popular Nickelodeon game show, Splat.

Use it as a dip with corn dogs, French fries and chicken nuggets, or as a topping on burgers and other favorite foods. This will make dinner time so much fun leading up to Halloween.

I remember green ketchup being a thing when I was a kid (I’m 33). It grossed me out, and I could never make myself eat it! 🤣

Lol I remember this also. I ate it but swear it tasted different. Think I tried the purple also

The purple one was even worse, though lol At least the green is somewhat vibrant; the purple looked like mud

    Curious….what makes it green?

I’m guessing all the food coloring:
Ingredients: Tomato Ketchup (tomato concentarte, high fructose corn syrup, distilled vinegar, corn syrup, salt, natural flavor, spice, onion powder), contains 2% or less of: color, FD&C yellow no. 5, FD&C blue no. 1, xanthan gum.

I bought this over the summer to freak out my kids and they wouldn’t even touch it. 😂 My husband and I tried it and it taste fine but it had a slightly different texture than our usual ketchup and you can little green fiber looming things in it.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m curious what my kids would think of it!

    🤢 yuck!

I think it was Heinz that had green and purple ketchup about 20 years ago. We tried the green and I swear it tasted different, probably due to all the coloring. (I was already an adult, so not a kid going “ew, it’s green, it’s weird” LOL)

No thanks and won’t be buying for my kids. yuck

I got this for my kiddos a few months ago and it amused them but just be aware that it STAINS. Both skin and clothes were left green afterwards.
