These shoes look kinda silly with the big sole, but they are SO comfortable. I was skeptical due to the way they looked when I tried them on at our local running center, but they are so amazing. Highly recommend!

These were recommended to me because of my plantar fasciitis. They are amazing! Like walking on clouds! 👍🏽

Yes. When I first saw them I was like no way! But they are super light! I have run several half marathons in them and they are so comfortable. Like running on clouds or pillows.

In case anyone is on the fence about buying Hokas, I will never buy any other running sneakers. I have a history of a broken ankle on the right and stress fracture on the left heel, with plantar fasciitis. These shoes are amazing, I currently own 2 different ones, trail runners and Clifton 2. They feel like clouds. I run faster than ever and they prevent me from heel striking. Love, love, love them!

Just throwing in another great review… I got a pair of Hokas in July. Yeah, the thick sole may look kind of funny, but theyโ€™re like little marshmallows on my feet, whether itโ€™s my first mile or tenth, they just feel so good!

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Wow! Thanks for letting us know, Carole! We appreciate the feedback.

I love mine, too. I want to get another pair after I wear my current pair out. I run a lot & I need new shoes frequently. ๐Ÿ™„

Are these shoes true to size? I have to wear a half size/size bigger in Adidas or Nike..

Anyone know what size I would need in the mens if I wear an 8 womens? Thanks

    • Amber

      Iโ€™m an 8 also and generally wear a 6 in menโ€™s.

Hoka is the only athletic shoe I will buy anymore. IT IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE EVER. I don’t care if I look like a grandma.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Good to know how comfortable they are! Thanks for taking a moment to comment!

I sized up. I usually wear a 7.5 & purchased an 8. Going up a half size was perfect for me.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful feedback on how they fit! Good to know!

I bought my first pair in May. I agree the sole is wide but they are the most comfortable shoes I own!
I would say they are true to size. They seem a little bit wider than my Nikes and Sucuony’s.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for your review, Laura! Super glad you have been loving these!

Hi , How do these compare to brooks ghost 10

    • Katie

I have never worn brooks but hokas are great shoes. Worth a try!

My husband loves Hokas, it’s about all he wears. I’m personally a Altra gal. This is also a great price on the brand, rare to see them below a 100 anywhere.

Adding another comment to say, I am wearing my Brooks Ravenna’s today. Hoka’s have more of a cushioned sole than Brooks. Quite a different feel in both shoes.
