This is perfect as my dogs take the boat out way too often! 😀

Woops! We apparently need some more coffee around here! I just fixed that misspelling!

Order a size down to slow them down even more. I have a large dog – feed him in a medium bowl like this. We get a lot less “music” after he eats! 🙂

LOL! Thanks for the helpful tip!

My daughter is getting a service dog in April but I wanted to get the dog one of these now. I know it will be a large dog but am not sure whether to get the small or large size? Help!

    • Annette

I would say get the large one. I am a weekend puppy raiser for service dogs and use the large one. It’s been great.

check Marshall’s/HomeGoods for these as well, I bought a large size one for $7.99 a few weeks ago

Cool! Thanks for the heads up on your find! We’ll have to keep a lookout for those in our stores too!

Wish there was a stainless steel bowl. We bought these for our huskies, it did help slow down their eating but then within a day they chewed away at the bowls. Both of our pups did the same thing…they were only about 6 months old.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience!

Try a metal muffin pan! My vet suggested that for my pup who tended to be gassy. I bought a nice metal one at Goodwill. I don’t remember the exact price, but I know it wasn’t more than $1.

Another frugal option (as recommended by my vet) is to buy a regular muffin pan. I bought one for my pup at the local Goodwill. It’s been awhile, but it was either 50 cents or $1.

What a neat idea! Thanks for the suggestion, Diana!
