Shoot, I just put it in the bottle with warm water and shook it. No wonder my kids aren’t turning out. 😉

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

LOL! I did the same for my kiddos, but I would have liked to try this out!

    • Cherry Blossom

Jan, this is mostly helpful for babies with reflux and/or colics. When you just shake the bottle, it creates lots of bubbles, which exacerbate the GI issues for sensitive kiddos. This pitcher eliminates most if not all the bubbles. You are very lucky if your kids aren’t sensitive and you have no need for this thing 🙂

We had 3 of these and always had 1 in the fridge with formula, 1 in the dishwasher, 1 ready to go. Do not get a brezza. Get these instead if you are formula feeding. It is so convenient to make a full day’s formula at once and pitcher mixes it thoroughly.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks a bunch for the helpful feedback! Good to know what worked best for you!

Dr Browns formula pitchers are incredible. I had 2 for each of my four kiddos. I would buy generic formula when I didnt have coupons but it didn’t mix as easily as the brand names. This mixer did the trick. I always had a spare for when the other was in the diswasher.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

How cool! Happy to hear how well these mixed the formula! Thanks so much for the awesome review!

This was such a timesaver for me. My daughter had to have human milk fortifier in her breastmilk and it made life so much easier to mix this way since breastmilk can’t be shaken in a bottle.

These were amazing for my formula-fed reflux baby. I mixed the formula up the night before and let it sit in the fridge overnight to get out all of the air that was mixed in. Helped her reflux so much vs shaking the bottle and it was a huge timesaver instead of making all of her bottles individually.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Good to know how much this helped with reflux! Thanks for taking a moment to comment!

  6. SuperK

I did have this and it’s slightly more convenient I liked it

  7. Tina

Thanks! Getting ready to start daycare and we have to prep all bottles. It will be nice to just make one big batch and put it in bottles each morning.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      How exciting! You’re very welcome!

  8. Tina

Thank you cherry blossom. I get enough of the ‘back in my day __________, and my kids turned out just fine’ from my mother in law, don’t need it on here too! 😂

    • Deb

We just all need to support one another. It’s difficult enough being a parent that if you find something that makes life easier, I say “go for it.”

This was a lifesaver for me when I had my twin boys 11 years ago. Just recommended to my sister who had her baby last week.

  10. Lindsey

I love this thing! I remember when i use to have to fortify my breastmilk to increase the calorie, I’ll put my breastmilk in and formula and just spin it. Breastmilk shouldn’t be shaken. And when I had to make 5 bottles for child care .. it was make a big pitcher and go. Love love love!

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

So glad to hear that, Lindsey!

  11. Tina

Anyone one tried this for protein shake mixes? I think I’m gonna give that idea a try.

  12. Amy

Formula require you to use one scoop for 2 ounces. When I make a big pitcher like this, I can easily pour odd amounts; 3, 5 or halves like 4.5 ounce bottles without having to estimate how much powder to scoop.

  13. MoMinLA

Loved this thing! Every morning I had to prepare 5-6 bottles of milk in bottles for my son’s day care when I went back to work. This helped so much. No need for snarky comments about the moms that need to rely on helpful shortcuts to make the day just a little bit less stressful.

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

We appreciate your feedback! Thanks MoMinLA!

  14. Pam

Ok, so I’ve been thinking this over all day (I’m due in December). For my last few babies, I’ve just done the one at a time bottle making, but it would be nice to have a pre-mixed jug at odd hours. So, I will need a bottle warmer. I haven’t had a bottle warmer since my oldest was a baby (13 years ago) and it took almost five minutes to warm a bottle. Any suggestions? I’m not looking to drop big bucks on this…just functional and fast.

    • Lori

There’s nothing that says the formula has to be warmed. Our daughter drank the formula cold and would actually vomit if it was warmed. Just my 2 cents but there truly isn’t a need 🙂

    • Dee

Hi Pam, we have a bottle warmer from a hip2save deal and it was about 8 bucks. It’s from First Years and we love it. It “steams” the bottle and it’s ready to go in under a minute. HTH and congrats on the baby! 😊

      • Pam

Thanks for the recommendation. I was looking at the First Years Simple Serve Warmer…does that sound familiar?

    • Rebekaherinbell

I agree with Lori- try cold bottles first! If they’ll drink it cold from the beginning, then that’s what will be normal for them! Worth a try to save you money and LOTS of time! 😁 It worked really well for my kiddos!

    • Pam

Cold bottles have never worked for us (this is baby #11), so it’s either a bottle warmer or soaking the bottle in a glass of hot water if I go the batch formula route. I nurse during the day and my husband (the night owl) takes the night shift with formula. I’m guessing it’s the temperature of the breast milk during the day that makes them prefer the warmed bottles.

    • Amy

I have the munchkin high speed warmer (about $20 on Amazon). I drop the pre made bottle in then warmer and change my baby’s diaper. When I’m done, the bottle is done. This way, I’m not ‘waiting’ for the warmer.

      • Pam

Thanks! I’ll pop over to Amazon and take a look at the Munchkin.

  15. Amy

yes!! not shaking of bottles for my refluxer or big problems later. we loved this pitcher!

  16. Amber

Had one of these, it was amazing! Wouldnt even think about having another baby without one!

  17. Tripletmom

I have triplets & this was a life saver for me!!! They were preemies so I had to mix different formulas for all three & this item was perfect for each one to have!!!
