Heads up! I was just at Walgreens and my cashier whispered to me that they’re changing the points program early November. You will only be able to use $5.00 in points per transaction!!!! She said she’s not supposed to say anything but is telling customers with a lot of points. I still have $200.00 in points. I’m so sad 😞. Going to have spend them all soon.

It’s been confirmed in several couponing groups that belong to. 😥 I’m planning to burn through my $100 in points in the next month, because I always redeem at the higher levels to take advantage of $50 being only 40,000 points.
After all the positive reviews on the No. 7 products I decided to burn some points! Online only they have buy one get one half off. Free shipping at $35 or free ship to store. I bank my points and use them in Florida. Walgreens is across the street from our condo. We would use them to buy bottled water, soda, snacks etc. Like someone else mentioned, I also only used them in $50 increments. It’s been fun Walgreens!
Wow. But IDK how they can even implement a maximum of $5 reward to be redeemed. Some offers, you earn 10,000 BR. So my $10 reward has to be split up? No thanks, Wags. I’ll stick to CVS!
Thanks for the heads up Libby. This upsets me as well. I have $200 in points. I hold the points until s good OTC meds sale and buy all my OTC meds for the year for free. It’s been so helpful and now it looks like it’s gone. I’ll be shopping a LOT less at Walgreens.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I had enough of Walgreens points program after what they did last year. I had almost $200 in points when they did the last round of changes. All of my points were going to expire in the arbitrary 2 month period they gave as the expiration for ALL points. I felt that you just don’t treat your customers that way. So I used up all of my points and have not been back. Sounds like they just doubled down on inconsiderate treatment of their customers.

Does this work on the bar soap because the associated items shown on the coupon I clipped doesn’t show any bar soap only body wash?

I just came back from my store and they don’t sell the 3 pack of Ivory soap. Plus I looked at the flyer inside the store and this sale doesn’t show up
you’re probably overlooking it. In my ad, it’s page 8. BOGO 50% off Ivory or Old Spice Bath Care and shows Old Spice Foam body wash and a bottle of Ivory body wash. At my store, the 3 pk is tagged for the sale, but they were OOS. I went online and found 2 stores that are showing stock in my area. Hope to make it to one tomorrow.
Thank you Mel for the info. So I went and looked again at my ad and it’s not there. So I decided to do a little “research.” Interestingly, not all Walgreen ads are the same in every market. For example, I put in the zip code for family member in Miami Beach and another family member in California. Two different ads. And my local ad is different from those two as well. Hmmmmmm…….
Aw, that sucks. I have read that Wags does smaller ads in some regions from time to time. I wonder if you go to walgreens.com and search for the item, if it will show the sale price for you? Then maybe you can find a store in your area that sells the 3 pk?

This is DH’s favorite soap and he goes through it so fast, so was glad to get the 10 pack of 4 oz bars down to $2.35 each after the sale price, clipped coupon and $3 back in points. Walgreens (Portlanda area) is usually out of stock on sale items. I can’t usually get deals that you post even when checking multiple stores. Checked 3 this week for ivory. All out of stock without a plan to restock until sale done 😕no more Walgreens for me.
