Can I use rewards points & still earn rewards on this deal? I need to spend my $50 in points before they change it.

I got an email that said there are changes coming to Balance Rewards. One of those changes is that you can redeem up to 5000 points per transaction. Does that mean that they’re eliminating the higher redemption? And with that the ability to use, say, the 18000 points I think it is to go towards a $20 purchase? Does anybody know for sure??

Yes, that’s exactly what that change means. You can only redeem $5 in points PER transaction, no matter how many points you have earned/banked! Be sure to send them feedback, there’s a box for you to click in the email. Hopefully everyone will bombard them with complaints. Right now, the limit is $50 and I’m fine with that. But $5? Nahh, they’ll be losing my business.

Yes, everyone give feedback please!! I ripped them on the feedback! I was just there and the gal at the beauty counter said customers she’s told are very upset. A lot save their points all year to use at Christmas. She said they were told only 2% redeem points at the higher amounts so they thought this would make things less confusing (lol). She’s encouraging everyone to complain and maybe they’ll change it back. Fingers crossed!

i was told yesterday that the new policy is you can only redeem in $5 increments, no more $1-$2 redemptions.. i asked so if i have $50 i can redeem more than $5 as long as it’s either $5-$10-$15 etc.. He said yes.. i said are u sure he said yes,, hope so…
