I went this morning had a coupon for 1.00 off two on the peanuts. 50 cents is awesome deal 🙂

Misti, technically you should not be using a paper coupon with e-coupon. ‘Friday-Saturday only’ deals are e-coupons you can use up to 5 times (5 items for each deal). So it is a violation technically. At least in my area Kroger/Scott’s. On a side note I LOVE Kroger. Only place I shop. Always look out for the yellow/red sticker items (50-75% off) and white tags on the shelves. They have a 20.00 off 50.00 e-coupon valid till 10/20 on your first pickup (former ‘Clicklist’) order. I used it yesterday and had a GREAT experience. 20.00 off you read it right. Go Kroger!!

I also went to buy peanuts today and they had peelie coupons on the peanut containers, for $1 off 2. Great deal. No ecoupon infractions for the coupon police 😉 That may be what misti used too

Maybe the Fri-Sat deals are considered ‘store’ coupon then? In that case I think it would go through. I don’t know. In my area if I use digital and a paper, it will beep. Never tried to use paper coupons on Fri-Sat deal. Their coupon policy states 1 coupon per item, digital or paper. I was able to stack store coupon with manufactures coupon at Kroger before, but only if store coupon is like 1 dollar off 5 produce. Hope I am wrong, then I will love Kroger even more 😀

          • Lo

These weekend only deals are store coupons so you CAN use a manufacturer coupon with them.

        • Misti

I did use one that was on the peanuts when I bought them.

      • Misti

Kate maybe things are different where I live. I have used coupons many times on FRI?SAT deals. I called and asked to talk to a manager before I did. I wasn’t sure of that before I had called. I was told yes I could use them.

  2. Melissa

I get so excited when I see these Kroger posts, but they don’t offer them in my area (Frankfort, KY). 🙁

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear that, Melissa! Hoping you can grab theses offers in your area soon!

    • Sharleigh

Melissa, we have these deals in Versailles and Lexington if you have time to drive over or if you’re in the area. They’re only good Friday and Saturday.

  3. Kit

Does anyone know if diet 7 up will count for the discount ? Or just regular 7 up.

    • Mel

My fred meyer had the diet on sale also. Along with A&W. Great deal!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That may work as the details list “select varieties”. Also – When testing we were able to score this same deal on Sunkist, Big Red and A&W 6-packs. Hope that helps!

    • Libby

Yes and Sunkist and Canada Dry are also included. If you click on the coupon and scroll down you can see all the items the coupon will work on! Side note, is anyone else’s comments cut off on the app? I also can’t post from the app, had to come to the website.

      • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hello, Libby! Regarding the problem with comments being cute off – we are so sorry! We are actually aware of this issue and working to push a fix through in the next few days.

  4. kim

this sounds very cumbersome…you have to scan your loyalty card twice & bag your own items…what’s the advantage here?

  5. kim

sorry, I meant to leave my comment on the scan, bag & go post….

Ralphs in So Calif peanuts had the $1/2 coupon attached ( paid $2.98 for 5), plus Dr pepper had a $1/2 coupon attached (paid $5.45 for 5) . Plus they had Hershey snack size candy bar bags (18 ct approx 10oz) as well as Mars and Nestle Fun Size bags (20ct same wt range) on sale for $1.99 when you buy 4 and the Mars ones (3musketeers, twix, M&Ms,etc) also had a $1/2 attached. ($5.96 FOR 4) . That was not one of the Friday/Sat specials. Also picked up the Friday freebie tuna and (2 from previous weeks – Hormel Compleat item and yo yoplait yogurt) .Got all that for under $15 dollars. Not too shabby.
