Hi guys! It’s Emily, one of Collin’s sidekicks, and I may have a slight addiction to shopping on Amazon.
Alright, alright, we ALL probably have some degree of obsession when it comes to buying practically everything on Amazon. However, mine is more focused on fashion. I recently wrote about how Amazon is my go-to source for summer dresses, especially when I have a plethora of bridal showers, weddings, and other dressy events coming up.
Well luckily for me, I’ve found my new seasonal Amazon fix — outerwear! Specifically, this asymmetrical button-up fleece jacket. I scrolled across it on Instagram and immediately started picturing myself sporting this top among all the color-changing leaves with a warm latte in hand at any and all upcoming fall events. “Add to Cart?” Yes, please!
Oh, and did I mention it’s right around $20 (depending on what color you choose)? Thank the Amazon Gods for budget-friendly, fashion-forward apparel that shows up on your doorstep in two days. There are even some other sellers that have the jacket listed for even less, though it does appear that the sleeves on the lower-priced fleece don’t have the same quilted patches.
You’re probably questioning the jacket’s quality, right? I also felt this was a too good to be true bargain. My concern grew when I saw the jacket was vacuum-packed — don’t ask me why because I have no idea why it was shipped that way either. But I unzipped and it began expanding instantly. Phew! It’s looking like a real fleece now.
Thanks to recommendations from other reviewers, I threw it in the wash before wearing to prevent covering my shirt underneath in fuzzies. After a quick cycle with cold water and a low tumble dryer, the fleece was fresh, fluffy, and fuzz-free. I threw it over my head and couldn’t help but give myself a hug — it’s sooooo cozy!
And let’s just get back to the quality really quick. If you’re a diehard North Face, Patagonia, or any other brand name outerwear fan, I ask you to at least give this jacket a shot. The fleece material is thick, non-shedding (after washing it first, of course), and the style is spot on. I mean how cool is that quilting and side-button detailing?! It also comes in a variety of colors so you’re not just limited to black and grey.
As far as the fit, it does run slightly big. I’m 5’7″, 125lbs, and ordered a small, but to me, it fits more like a medium. And despite having long arms, the sleeves fit just right. Also, the length is perfect if you want to style the jacket over leggings. Oddly enough, the jacket was advertised as a top seller in Maternity Clothes when I first bought it, and while it does have a forgiving looser fit, it definitely doesn’t at all look like maternity wear.
I’m predicting this trendy jacket is going to get pretty popular as we move into the cooler months, so if you’re holiday shopping for your wife, girlfriend, mom, daughter, mother-in-law, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, or any other female in your life, do her a favor and buy her this jacket. I’ll do you a solid and link to it again right here.
Oh, and if you happen to be shopping for me, I obviously already have this jacket, but I’m really feeling the cream/forest green colors… hint hint. 😉
One last thing, this isn’t a sponsored post — the seller doesn’t even know I’m writing this. I just legitimately love this fleece and wanted to share this fall fashion find with the Hip2Save community! Let me know if you have any questions about the jacket and I’ll do my best to help out!
Let sweater season begin! 😍
