Great deals. I just wish they were vouchers to activate later. My current plus membership goes through June.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

We’ll keep watch for any other membership deals that pop up! 👀

      • Alicia

About 2 weeks ago I went to renew mine and they offer it to me for $25! Unexpected surprise!

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          Wow! That’s great! 🙌❤️

    • Honey R

Does the plus membership require being a new member also to get the discount?

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Honey! Yes, it does appear that both the regular and plus membership offers require being a new sign-up. Here’s the details I found on that in the terms and conditions – “Join now and receive $60 off a $110 plus membership for a total of $50. Must join as a new Sam’s Club member through the link provided to qualify for this Offer. Offer is valid for new Sam’s Club members only; and is not valid for (i) membership renewals, those with a current membership, those who were Sam’s Club members less than six (6) months prior to joining, or Walmart and Sam’s Club associates.” Hope that helps! 💗

        • Honey R

Well that’s a bummer. Thank you for the information, I wasn’t able to find it.

          • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re very welcome. It does look like readers in the comments have been able to sign-up another family member in the household, if you’d like to read through those and see if this may be an option for you as well. 🤞💞

  2. Margaux

Might be worth upgrading to a Plus membership. We moved and there isn’t a club near us so I get everything shipped. I was also lucky enough to score one of the viral Enzo Arched Cabinets and shipping on that alone was over $300 but free for Plus members. Think I paid more than $50 but we have definitely got our money’s worth.

  3. Wendi Anderson

Do you happen to know how long you have to wait after membership expiration to sign up again ? Mine expired in December but I still can’t take advantage of any promotional offers for renewal, it says I was a previous member. I haven’t been able to find out the time I need to wait to sign up again.

    • Heather

I’ve seen 6 months mentioned before

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Wendi! I did find the fine print on that for you! 💗
“Offer is valid for new Sam’s Club members only; and is not valid for (i) membership renewals, those with a current membership, those who were Sam’s Club members less than six (6) months prior to joining, or Walmart and Sam’s Club associates. “

    • NATALIE

I’m in the same boat – I think it’s 6 months. Hoping there’s a good offer available once that time frame is up. 🙂

    • Jackie Oliverio

Hi… Thank you for posting this deal, it is a sweet deal. But I have never been to a Sams Club or had a membership. Because there is not a Sam’s Club near me. I only have Bj’s Wholesale Club and Costco’s near me. I really would like a Sams Club nearby. I was thinking of purchasing the $14.00 membership and order online, but they charge a shipping fee. I cannot reason with myself to spend $50 for the plus membership for a store that I cannot physically go to. Hopefully they’ll build one in Boston.

      • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Jackie. There is a small shipping fee associated with orders using the regular membership; however, the Plus includes free shipping on most items, free curbside pickup (may not be helpful without a physical location nearby), extra optical and pharmacy discounts, and 2% back on qualifying purchases (up to $500 per membership year) in Sam’s Cash. Hoping this might be helpful for your membership decision. 🤗

  4. Wendi Anderson

    Thanks so much!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome! 🤗💗

  5. Amanda

Anyone know if the scan & go is for basic or only plus membership?

    • Taryn

      I have a basic membership
And use scan & go all the time:)

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful response, Taryn! ❤️

    • Alicia

      All members! I love it!

  6. everybodyluvsmonkeys

Thank you! You’re the best! You just saved me from getting the $20 new SAMs membership which expires today.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome! Happy you could snag this one for less! Thank YOU for the sweet comment! 🥰

  7. jsh143

I have a membership in my name that runs out in May, could I let that one lapse and just have my husband sign up for the promo one?

    • everybodyluvsmonkeys

Yes! I’ve been doing this for a few years now. Make sure to use a different email as well.

      • Kim

And you may need to use a different phone number

      • Krista Mihalik

What did I do wrong? Our membership expired over the weekend, in my name. I tried signing my husband up for this deal and used his name, his phone number, his email address and it wouldn’t let me do it. The only thing the same was our address. Help!

        • Lana

If he was secondary on your membership then they count him as having been a member. This seems to be new. We ran into it as well a couple of months ago.

    • Heather

That’s what I did. I had it in my name expires this month and just signed up in my husband’s name and next year will do it in my name we will continue to bounce back and forth and makes sure that we meet the 6 mo wait requirement

      • Chelle

I’ve been doing that for a few years. They have caught on and now use all of your info to know you’ve previously had a membership. Even outside of the 6 months window. I had to use a different #, address and email. I’ve been waiting for a Plus deal for a while.

        • Jill Haberkorn

I was wondering if they would catch on to that eventually. I too am guilty of this trick with discounted Sam’s club membership renewals With as much money as Sam’s and Walmart make, you’d think the execs would let this slide!!

        • Peaches

Actually, the fine print on the deal is supposed to allow the deal on accounts expired more than 6 months ago. Welcome to Sam’s Club’s brick wall!

  8. Bonnie C.

Awesome deal! We were on the fence but cringing at the membership price! Woo hoo. Now we are new members.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Welcome to the club, Bonnie! 🤩 Very glad this membership deal was an easy one to score and feel great about purchasing! 🥰

  9. riss

Mine expired yesterday, which I got for $10 last year. I’ll try getting one for my husband and see if it works. Then I’ll report back here.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hoping you’re able to grab your husband a new membership, riss! 🤞

  10. Jessica

Any idea when this deal expires? My membership ends on the 18th and hoping my husband can score this deal.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Jessica! This offer ends April 30th. ❤️

  11. erin

I purchased the deal recently posted for $70 for plus membership so I asked via Chat to Sam’s club rep if they would price match the $20 difference as 1.) I hadn’t even used my new membership yet, and 2.) satisfaction guaranteed or your money back in full…..unfortunately the rep said he asked and bec I bought my deal as a promotion they couldn’t price match it to the current one. I suppose one could ask for refund of membership and then get this new deal if one wanted to go to that length.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for taking a moment to share about your experience with chatting with customer service on a price match for this promotion, erin. Bummer they weren’t able to honor the lesser price for you. Hoping you find value in your Plus membership throughout this next year! 🤞💗

  12. Kim

I just purchased a $14 membership, using my husband’s email and phone number, but our address, as I live with him!! My membership expired two days ago.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Kim! Good to know how you grabbed yours!

  13. Felicia

I just did the scan and go and got 10 off for our first purchase. So essentially membership was 4.00

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Woohoo! That’s awesome, Felicia! 🎉

    • Paulina

      What promo is that??

  14. Jim D

I got robbed by Groupon literally one day earlier! You won’t believe this story. I’d been wanting to join Sam’s Club for about a month. I thought I found a “deal” on Groupon for a one year membership for $20. I jumped on it. It was about $30 cheaper than the standard price for a one year basic membership. I was satisfied until TODAY when my friends at Hip2Save offered the SAME membership for ONLY $14! I could’ve saved another $6 if I waited! How was I to know that there was going to be a better deal the next day? I’m so disappointed now.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh, bummer! Sorry you already snagged a Groupon deal for your membership, Jim. Sounds like you still grabbed a good amount of savings versus the regular price. 🥰 Hoping you get lots of use out of your new membership! 🤞

  15. Jim D

Thanks Jessica! Still a bit bummed about it.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

❤️ You’re welcome, Jim! I can certainly relate to doing the same before!

  16. Michelle

Its been 8 months since my membership expired and it wouldn’t let me get the deal unless I used another email address and made a new account. 😵‍💫👎 But for $14 I’m giving it a try

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks a ton for sharing how it worked for you, Michelle! 🤗💗

  17. Pammyjo

Yesterday, I signed up online through the link, paid the $14, went into my new account and took a picture of my membership ID number, went to the store, showed the pic (and my ID) and received my new membership card at customer service. And then, of course, I shopped. Worked just great. Thank you so much hip2save for posting these great deals.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

So happy to hear it was a smooth process to grab this awesome membership deal, Pammyjo! 🙌 You’re very welcome! 💕

  18. Liz Curtis

ty just scored me one Awesome Price too.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

YAY! 🙌 Happy you could snag it, Liz! Enjoy your new membership! 🩷

  19. Peaches

I have a few (3) email addresses that I have historically rotated my membership through without a hitch. This time I ran into trouble when trying to sigh up with the account that expired in 2018. The CSR said she unlinked that email address and to give it 24 hours before using the promo. So this morning I thought to order groceries with my current account which is due to expire 05/10. Only I couldn’t log in! Turns out the CSR was a bit overzealous and deleted ALL of my accounts. OK. 20 days is not a terrible loss, I thought. I’ll just use one of my old emails to create a new account. Nope! Customer Service now says I need a new phone number with a new email address! So, am I going crazy or are they? On the bright side, I did escalate the early cancellation with a screenshot of when I purchased it and I am being reimbursed $110 + a $10 gift card. Good thing I kept that welcome email.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! Thanks for sharing your experience with grabbing a membership! SO glad customer service was able to resolve everything for you in the end. 💖🙌

  20. hip2trade@gmail.com

Is needing a new phone number to sign up A new thing? I knew about signing up with a new email but not a new phone number? I’ve always used the same phone number in the past.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

That may vary, you could always give it a try to see what might work best for you. 💖

    • TM

I used hubby’s name, same address, old email from 2022 and different phone and it came up asked if I wanted to use old membership number or a new one. I clicked new and it went through at $14.
