Few days ago I went to store to buy cookware sets posted here after checking inventory price but target customer service couldn’t help as store price and online both were regular and when I showe them price showing in brickseek they said that is not something we can do price match. It should bw any other store,or target.com

Brickseek showed this at $83.98 at my store. I went and got it, but the clearance tag was only marked down to $139.98. I scanned it with the Target app and it showed as $83.98. It rang up $139.98 at the register, so I pulled it up on the app and showed the cashier. They honored the $83.98, no problem. This has happened to me with some other items in the past, and they honored it as long as I was at the particular Target that the app showed the price at, so it’s definitely worth scanning with the app while you’re at that particular location and then questioning it at the register if the prices do not align.

Wow! That is a great tip and I’m so glad they honored it for you. That means you saved $56 for just speaking up!

Do you have an android or iPhone? I’ve heard the target app shows different prices on them.

      • nfolsen

I use an Android. Not sure if you’re talking about the same method as me–the app shows the vacuum at full price, but there is a bar code scanner within the app that you can scan products with and it tells you the price at the store you’re at (assuming you allow it to identify your location).

My store showed $83.98 on brickseek, it was $139.98 at the register. It showed full price when scanned with the app. I asked the manager if they would honor the brickseek price by verifying other local stores were that priced. They called a neighboring store and then price matched. It was weird, brickseek was wrong, and the app didn’t show it.

    • nfolsen

That is pretty weird. I’ve generally had good luck using Brickseek with Target. With Walmart, it’s almost always a fail for me. Usually the items are not in stock or the price does not come up the same in store. In all my attempts with getting deals at Target, Brickseek usually aligns with using the app to scan bar codes in store. Of course, in almost all those cases, if you check the item with the price scanners in store, it is not always the same and that’s usually the (higher) price you get at the register. But the few times it has happened to me, they’re always fine with honoring that price that the app gives me. That’s awesome they price matched for you, though. I’ve heard that when most people even *mention* Brickseek with retailers, they automatically blow it off.

Can anyone recommend a vacuum that is great on pine needles? As much as I think I would love a cordless I just don’t want to hassle with the batteries. I have a ball and as good as it is guess I am just not coordinated enough for it, it makes me so frustrated I put it away and use my standby hoover.
