Another new brand from Target!

How is this different from Up and up brand?

    • Ann

According to other articles, Smartly is trying to compete with Dollar General – more no-frills items in smaller packages for lower prices.

Finally! I was growing tired of the trend of bulk buying when I don’t need bulk quantity. I think they were losing out on shoppers of small households and those on restricted budgets by forcing one to buy in quantity. Hope the products are good quality for the price. Thank you Target for listening.

    • Ann

Yes, I haven’t been able to buy toilet paper at Target in years, because they stopped carrying the more reasonably-sized packages.

They went from Equate to Up&Up just a name change probably the same quality maybe better

    • Shannabiss

      No, Equate is Walmart’s brand..

    • Megan

      Equate is Walmart’s brand

    • Nubianqueen

Yes that is what I meant to say each store has their brand which is usually same quality as name brand on some items.

      • Megan

I’m sorry. I misunderstood what you wrote. I also didn’t realize someone else said that too. I really wasn’t trying to be rude

it sounds like this is going to compete w/ the site “Brandless”. this is the same concept, only everything is $ 3.00. But for the ease of order and pick up at Target, I’ll take it !

    • Weber14

      That’s exactly what I thought!

  5. amanda

Our stores already have it out. Bought the bar soap this past weekend. I really like it!

I saw some AP cleaners early last week the packaging intrigued me. I was shocked when I price checked it I think it was $1.66. I would’ve gotten it but stopped myself because I still have a bunch of cleaners. I need to see the whole line

    • Jen D

Same here! I saw the cleaning sprays and thought the packaging looked really cute and was shocked at the price!

Target’s overall recent changes haven’t been positive. Merona was a go to for me. A New Day, Cat and Jack, and their new men’s line – Good Fellow (?) are not as nice. I’ve seen lots of strange no name products. Target seems more like Walmart now. I used to look forward to going, but now don’t even want to.

    • Rachel

Merona was a good brand, but I love Cat and Jack! The kids clothes are affordable and cute, and the warranty is great. I think their Wild Fable line has cute stuff, I don’t see any of their changes as a huge negative. maybe try A Wild Fable you might like some of their clothes, I know I have another brand from them as well for my work pants that I love I just forget right now what it is off the top of my head.

    • Megan

Oh and that 1 year warranty on Cat & Jack BUT you have to have your receipt??? I do t keep my receipt for a year!! And those clothes wear out WAY to fast!

    • Bee

I completely agree, I use to love their women’s clothing and now it’s a bit too out there and unpractical for me.

  8. Maggie

*meh* I’m not interested! Target is at it’s best when it’s selling edgy, cool, interesting products at surprisingly good prices — pop-up capsule designer collections, K-beauty and indie beauty brands, eco household brands, and decorator designer partnerships, etc. Cheap, small packs of low-end crap is plentiful at Dollar Tree….I don’t want Target to turn into Dollar Tree!

that’s a great price for makeup wipes. i’ll have to keep my eyes out for that one. Anyone know how well it removes eye makeup? I use the simple brand which works quite well removing eye makeup. thanks
