I have this and love it. We dry apples, bananas my favorite, peach, strawberry, mango and liver for dogs. It takes about 9 hours to dry. The unit is not too loud but makes heat. So in summer I have it in the garage so my house would not be hot.

I have this model and paid $58 several years ago from Sears. It works great. I was lucky enough to find 2 more similar versions at the second hand store (different times) for $7.99 and 9.99 for other family members. Great unit, quiet and easy to clean. Highly recommend!
