Cards Against Humanity is known for pulling pranks/generally not taking themselves too seriously – I’m not surprised by the $20 box! You can google some of their other odd promotions/antics – it’s pretty funny!

Wow, the description of the item does say it’s empty but also said there were cards and then I read it more closely and it most definitely is an empty box. Canceled my order!
according to the reviews there are some hidden cards in the box but as the description says “Don’t leave a 1 star review because you expected anything other than an empty box”
There are hidden surprises in the box. 🙂 Not entirely empty, which is why people buy it.

And yes, this is just the box with a few extra cards in it and blank cards to make your own for the game. Its so you can store all of your cards in one box.

Yes! Exactly! It’s why I ordered this too! I didn’t want to fork out $20 for an “almost” empty box (there are cards “hidden” in the lid.) $6.66 is a very reasonable price for this 😊
We have this, and yes it is an empty box, BUT it’s really nice to have a box to hold all of your cards and room for more. This would be a good time to pick it up for anyone who has the game.
So, I can pretty much paint a shoebox black and it’s the same thing.
