people if you’ve never tried this product, you’re missing out! it is magical! it’s 1 of my few makeup products that I almost always put on, yet the little bottle seems to last FOREVER! It’s like foundation that’s made for your eyelids…smooths & removes discoloration & imperfections, & makes eyeshadow application flawless (I definitely don’t ever wear shadow without it, but many days I just wear the primer without shadow.)

I was just wondering how long it lasts… I’ve thought about getting it forever but haven’t caught it on sale. I was using the knock off Elf stuff which seemed decent, but now it’s hard to find and this sale makes it seem like fate 🙂

You only use a little at a time and it has lasted me a long time. I stocked up and got two and expect that to take me through a year at least (I have a pretty decent amount left in my tube). I got the anti-aging one and love it. I also have sin and will sometimes just set it with some powder and wear it as a shadow.

That elf primer is seriously underwhelming compared to this…UD primer potion is the HG eyeshadow primer!

Yaaaasssssss!!!! This is my primer and I won’t wear eyeshadow without it. It lasts forever. Stocking up and getting four more. Thank you!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh awesome! You’re so welcome! Thanks for the feedback, Ann! I haven’t tried this primer yet!

  3. Ann

And a free Deluxe Optical Illusion Primer when you purchase four and free shipping. I use that as well, so even better! Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Ooh! Great score for sure!! You’re very welcome!

Does anybody know the shelf life of these when unopened? I want to stock up.

    • Ann

I’ve stocked up and opened one 18 months later and it was perfectly fine!

      • Kim

        Awesome! Thanks Ann!

Can anyone recommend what color to buy?

    • Kim

I’ve only used the original nude (in the purple tube) and I love it…but I have wondered about the others.

    • Ann

I’d get original if you wear eyeshadow. Sin has a yellow/gold base and Minor Sin has a pink/rose base. Hope that helps!

I tried to use the UD Anti-aging primer, but it doesn’t work for my eyelid skin. If you have an oilier or wetter eyelid there’s a good chance this won’t work for you. I now use the Smashbox 24 hour primer and it works perfect for my skin. It’s the only thing I’ll trust with my Pat McGrath palettes! Just a word to the wise, just like facial primer works with certain skin types, so does eye primers.

    • beth pitt

Thanks for the tip! I also have oily eyelids.

      • Lili

The anti aging did not work for me eather but the original formula did and I also have oily lids

    • AZ

My lids are also oily and the Original Primer Potion works perfectly for me. The anti-aging one isn’t for those w/ oily lids, as mature skin is generally dry anyway.

      • ~jenn~

I’m 47 and it doesn’t work for me!

        • AZ

I get it…some things are just a YMMV kind of thing.

          • ~jenn~

Well that and since a lot of aging issues are environmental and not just age, cosmetic companies are making/gearing more products that are for younger people. When I was 25 I would have never thought I was at the age to be worried about anti-aging products. Now you see 23 year old You Tubers and stars talking about using those types of products.
I just happen to live in high humidity and ride my motorcycle more than I drive my car. So I need a more mattifying eye primer.

            • AZ

Cosmetics brands are trying to appeal more to millennials than any other group right now, and for good reason- we buy a ton of makeup lol. But in general, more and more young people are buying cosmetics/skin care products than in the past b/c there’s greater access to information which drives consumption- the IG/YT beauty influencer, in particular.

In 2018 we also know that the biggest culprit when it comes to skin aging is UV damage which becomes apparent even in your 20s (especially for those that are lighter-skinned, as melanin and collagen in darker skin tones has a protective effect against wrinkles caused by UV damage), so people in their 20s are investing in sunscreen, Vitamin C, AHA’s, and even Retin-A. It’s a good thing imo.

This is a good price for the UD primer. This is my “go-to” eyeshadow primer as it really helps to keep the eyeshadow on for the whole day. I love how long a tube of it lasts without going bad- I’ve been using the current tube 4 or 5 times a week for over 9 months now, LOL.

  8. Cathy

Thanks, I ordered two! I received a sample off all the primer potion colors with an UD order a while back & really liked them. I ordered the original & minor sin. The anti-aging one was unavailable when I went to order.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome!

  9. Lindsay

    I use this everyday!!!
