Who the heck is this supposed to be marketed to? Kids who like Barbie but still may not know who Pioneer Woman is? Or adults who are fans of Pioneer Woman and want this as a collector’s item? I’d never spend this much money for one Barbie and a kitchen playset for my daughter, especially when she doesn’t know who Ree Drummond is.
My niece is 5 and she loves Ree Drummond and she wants her Barbie set for Christmas. She watches her cooking show and she has inspired her to do her own cooking shows that she makes and her mom posts them on youtube for her. There are lots of little girls that love to cook and look up to the Pioneer Woman.
Why is it that as a 43yo I want this set? I love her show. I even have my boyfriend watching it with me. I must have some form of delayed childhood. LOL!
It’s not a bad price considering the ultimate kitchen from Barbie is retailed at almost $50. Barbie accessories are expensive. Plus don’t you remember playing barbies and not having certain accessories so it was make believe? I remember cutting pictures out of a magazine for milk. Very cool this set. I would of loved it.
