If you are a PayPal user and are signed up to receive emails from Subway, check your inbox or spam/trash folders for a possible email containing an offer for $5 off ANY Subway order when you purchase through the Subway app or Subway.com and pay with PayPal!
Just look for an email with the subject line “$5 off Deal Inside” coming from the email address <news@subs.subway.com>. Note that this single-use offer expires on November 15th and is open only to the first 350,000 to save the offer. If eligible, you will also be able to locate this offer in your PayPal wallet section.
If you qualify, simply make a purchase of $5 or more using the Subway app or Subway.com, choose to pay with PayPal at checkout, and your offer with be automatically applied to your purchase. Sweet!
Please note that you may not see your $5 discount immediately on the Subway app. After you pickup your order, you will get another email that shows the actual purchase price with the $5 off the total.

I have done this in the past. I also got it again. It works flawlessly. It is worth noting that when you check out it doesn’t show the $5 off. After pickup you get another email that shows the actual purchase price with the $5 off the total.

Do you have to order online?
no, you can use Subway app also. just make sure you pay with Paypal so Paypal can give you the discount.
I ordered through the subway website and paid with PayPal but my confirmation email is showing that $5 didn’t come off. Does this mean it didn’t work?

I was reading the fine print…. the deal starts at 1PM EST 11/1……

I am pretty sure it is only valid on orders placed through Subway’s mobile app….
i don’t have the Subway app and my deal worked perfectly and easily.
i ordered online, and when i got my summary from Paypal a few seconds later it showed i only paid $4.89 instead of $9.89.
BTW, i didn’t get the email, but it was available to add to my wallet from Paypal website when i logged in there.

Can you use the coupons they text you with this? Does this have to be done online? Or can you pay with PayPal at the store?
I think I answered my own question. The text coupons say instore only. The PayPal fine print says for orders online only.

Thanks. I had the email, but overlooked it this morning! Added it to my pp acct and noticed I have a 2nd $5 offer, but valid 10/30-11/13. Wonder if I can place 2 separate orders for $5 off each? DH and I can have a super cheap lunch date tomorrow!

I’ve gotten these offers before and also got this one. I’ve never used them though before cuz I thought you had to have the app. Thanks for the heads up about subway.com working with it, I will try it then and see if it works 🙂
