2.4 Qt is considered an XL size air fryer? I thought 5Qt was XL? Just wondering which size to buy for a 3 family household any suggestions?

HI Denise, I asked the same question in the Target Black Friday thread, and people say even the 5 is too small for a family. You can see other responses there.

        Thanks Danielle

I also want to know what size is better for family 4.

One of my friends said when she called to order hers, was told XL doesn’t mean ‘extra large’, as in the basket size. It’s short for ‘excel’, as in cooking your food faster.

I think 5qt should be large enough for family of 3. We use ours daily for lunches (fish sticks, tenders, nuggets, even cheese sandwiches.) 5qt is large enough for roasted veggies, “fried” eggrolls, mozerella sticks, fries. I mean it’s great for using items as side dishes. I wouldn’t feed my family of 5 only mozerella sticks for a meal, but as a side, my 5qt is enough for each person to get 3-4 each.
