I ordered to holiday drinks, one for me and one for my boss and they gave me two cups. I did know you needed to order the holiday drinks to get them. But maybe the girl messed up.

You order the drink, you automatically get the cup.
Just order the drink on the app and upon picking up at your store they will give you the red cup free. 😊

Heads up- My location said I had to buy a Venti holiday drink.
I purchased a grande, but the cashier said that it didn’t matter the size when I ordered. Sounds like it is by location, but you would think it would be across the board. Cute cups though!
Yeah, I would take a screenshot of Starbucks’ FB page which clearly says any size. I went this morning, and she told me it was only on Grande holiday drinks (I bought a Venti). I’m going to try to go back and see if they have any left!
My location first said drive thru customers do not get one, then they said they did not receive them.
The second location I went to made up for it. I received 2 cups, they handed me a cup, then made my drink in one of reusable cups. I’m ok with that.
At my location, the manager only gave away 25 for this event so definitely check beforehand.

I am in DC, 16th and K. I ordered a venti via the app. When I arrived at 8am, I was told only grande orders got the cup because a venti drink wouldn’t fit. I sqaulked a bit and got the cup. 😎

You should receive a holiday cup per holiday drink (so if you get two holiday drinks, you get two cups). At my location, things started to back up, so the baristas started handing out the cups on the side with our drinks. Honestly, I probably won’t take advantage of the holiday drink discount since I usually get my coffee well before 2 p.m., but I love having another cute reusable cup to cut back on waste. 🙂

We are on such a tight budget right now I didn’t want to even buy a travel mug! I had one reward on my Starbucks account, used it for the drink and got the cup. Really a blessing, thank you.

I want one so bad, but I’m stuck at home sick with a toddler. Hubby won’t be out until 3 so I’m sure they’ll be gone by then. On Instagram it looks like there’s issues like some stores only got 25 cups total, you have to ask, mobile orders not getting them, some don’t even know what you’re talking about, and what not. So basically the usual promotions going awry as usual. I do want to mention that these cups usually sell for $2, so if I don’t get one I guess I don’t feel too bad.

Went to one Starbucks and the line was down the street so I left and went to one a few min away and no line at all! So strange
Got mine- no line and they had many cups and staff super friendly.
Went to the mall Starbucks before the mall stores opened up. No lines. The cashier said they have plenty of red cups available.
I got one this morning! There wasn’t a lot of people who knew about it. They didn’t put the drink in the cup either, which I am kind of happy about. The cups are super cup and seem durable!
My location was all out. I was going through the drive through and quite a few cars ended up not ordering anything when they were told they were out.
My store had them only for Grande purchase or bigger, but you could buy one for $2.50. Since I really just wanted the cup to give to my daughter, I just did that.
The app was giving me troubles so I just went in and got two.
I got one but my order had to be a GRANDE size and a Holiday drink. So happy I made it — store busier than usual but wasn’t too long of a wait. Only a few cups remaining at 7:10 A.M.

Don’t forget about Starbucks in Target! All 7 Starbucks near me sold out at 7am. Target still had them (needed to stop anyways) and the ladies working were amazing. They rang my husband and I up separately, as it’s one cup per order. There was a line as people were catching on that Starbucks was our but Starbucks in Target wasn’t 🙂

I was at Walmart yesterday and they had a whole end cap full of really festive Starbucks cups for sale. They had all different kinds such as tall, glass coffee mug with the glass lid, the plastic cups with straws or the regular large coffee cup with Starbucks logo. They was really cute and the most expensive was $8.87
I order one and didnt get it this morning and when I tryed to ask the girl shut the window.
Our store was easy- talked me through how to get it and went through the drive thru. They gave me the cup on the side- wouldn’t put drink in the cup so people can wash them first. It’s boa free and dishwasher safe. Lid snaps tightly but it is thin plastic so will be hot if you aren’t wearing gloves I think

Hi, according to their FB page the discount is off Holiday drinks.
Just a heads, up in case anyone still goes today (and if the stores still have any left), you get the cup free with ANY SIZE holiday drink ordered, as per Starbucks Facebook page. I ordered a tall, as I’d already had two cups of coffee, and Starbucks employee told me “Sorry you have to order a Grande or larger”. I said “Oh, it doesn’t say that on the website”? She smiled and said “Ok I’ll let you order a tall”. I’d like to think it was an oversight, but I have a feeling they were just telling people they had to order a grande expecting everyone to just say ok. Just had a feeling they were trying to put one over on me. Not cool.
Got mine but I’m on the West Coast by Seattle and there is a Starbucks on every corner mind luckily only had 15 left out of what they said boxes and boxes of them!
Tried the Starbucks at Barnes & Noble but they aren’t a real Starbucks!!! made it to the mall where they had 5 left and I was #6 in line….. thankfully I got one! Skinny peppermint mocha! Yum!! Not sure how many more Holiday drinks I have in me… they’re pretty rich! But I love the cup just the same. Thanks!
My friend and I ordered 3 holiday drinks in one order. The barista only gave us 1 cup. We told her that the promotion is for each holiday drink so she then gave us 2 more.
I prepared for this! I left early for work, headed on over to Lowes to pick up my 75% off Halloween Dragon. While at Lowes, I placed my Peppermint Mocha order via the Mobile app. Got to Starbucks picke up my order and headed out the door… took me a second to realize my beverage wasn’t actually IN the free cup. I had to go back in and ask for my cup. Thanks for the heads up on this!
