I went to my story at lunch. Said they were sold out at 9:15 and only received 13 wine advent boxes to begin with! That is what you call a marketing gimmick!!
ours was sold out of both Cheese and Wine versions before 10 am. 🙁 I am so bummed because i really wanted the cheese one for my husband!

Yes I went to two stores, and they were sold out before 9 am. And was told they will not be restocking.

I got the $1.29 chocolate calendars last Saturday. There were about 10 left. When are the boxes of truffles coming? They’re the best.
Are the truffles an advent calendar or just a box of chocolate? I love truffles!
In the past they’ve been boxes of truffles. We usually buy about 20 boxes.

Trader Joe’s has the same ones for $.99 and plenty left last week
I got to my Aldi at 9:30am when it opened at 9am. The cheese and wine calendars were sold out immediately at 9am. My store said they only got 15 calendars of the wine one.
Our store sold out at 9 am for the wine and they never received the cheese one. Bummer!
We scored the cheese one so I’m very happy. Glad I went this am as I got one of last ones. My son was eyeing the chocolate ones though. We will have to go back for those. Does anyone know if they restock the chocolate ones or once they are gone they are gone? What’s the best one to get. I was very surprised to read they aren’t restocking the wine and cheese.

I went as soon as I got off work and they were sold out of both. ( But has their obviously preplanned “sorry we are out “letter up). Poor planning on Aldi’s part. Sending 15 to a store after all the hype is ridiculous. It is a longer trip to Aldi’s than other stores so I think I will boycott them for awhile.
Got 3 cheese advents (one for each kid and one for my parents). They only received 20 wine advents and were sold out by 9 am. We would have gotten one for a family member if they had them.

Our store got 10 wines. Not sure why or how the stores opened early but they were sold out by 9.

Although the wine calendar sounded great, my goal was to get the Hot Wheels advent calendar. They cost more on amazon and elsewhere. Not to mention the little guy saw it on the weekly ad the week before- we were hoping he’d forget but yesterday after school, first question out of his mouth “did you the hot wheels box?” 😆 oh my goodness! Thank goodness, I was to get it but he won’t know until December 1st! 😀
I arrived a half hour early and was one of the lucky 17 who got a wine and cheese. The kid toy ones also sold out while I was in the store. Poor strategy for aldi. The entire parking lot was filled with hopeful customers.
Our store had 12 and a line around 8:30. I missed it by a person but got the cheese one. I’m sure they’re all sold out everywhere of both.

You can buy a lot of Wine for $70; I wouldn’t have bought the Aldi wine advent calendar but I did buy the cheese one.

I went yesterday in okc & they had all the calendars except the cheese (possibly wine, didn’t notice) but the worker said the cheese calendar was delayed and she wasn’t sure when it was coming. So maybe some weren’t sold out, they just hadn’t arrived yet.
My sister works for Aldi and she told me they were handing out tickets for the wine calendars to the first people in line and each store would only receive around 15 of them. Also employees were not allowed to buy them.

When I saw the price for the wine and the size of the bottles, I decided against it. Glad I didn’t waste my time even trying. I rather get wine I actually like than spend $70 on stuff I might not. Same with cheese. It’s all a gimmick.
With the chocolates advent calendar will those bed restocked if/ when they sell out? My son was eyeing them this morning but we were going to be out all day and the cooler I brought to hold the cheese calendar wasn’t big enough for the chocolate too. I told him we could go back another day so hopefully we can get one
We have 3 Aldis within driving distance to me, (25-35 miles away). I went to one this morning and they said they haven’t received their wine or cheese ones yet, and the other 2 stores in the area hadn’t got theirs either. (They has plenty of all the other ones). They said they should have them by tomorrow. But I have to work tomorrow, so I’m bummed I won’t be able to get the cheese one for my daughter!

I got 3 of the cheese calendars around 10 am but they were sold out by the time I hit checkout line 15 minutes later. My store sold out the wine calendars immediately upon opening. They are not getting any more of either one.
I asked about the chocolate advent calendars (they were out of the Moser Roth $7,99 one) and they said they will not be getting any more chocolate advent calendars either.
Our store didn’t even get the cheese one. 14 wine calendars that were ticketed @7 am for when store opened at 9. Kids calendars and chocolate truffles were also all gone by 11:30 am!!
I got to the Aldi near me before it opened at 9 and waited in line. The store got 20 wine calendars and I was 24th in line. The cheese calendars hadn’t arrived and although they took our names and phone numbers to reserve one for us — I haven’t had a call and am not holding my breath. What a disappointing experience. I have a much lower opinion of Aldi now.
You guys could totally buy the $2.89 bottles of Aldi’s ‘Winking Owl’ wine and make your own adult advent calendars (:

I have to say, I’m so not feeling the shopping thing when stores are out of everything. I’m just going to snag free shipping where I can, pay shipping where I can’t get free and not wait in line or search for items that may or may not be there.
