Cancelled the 19.99 and ordered this instead, the concealed paper tray is invaluable with cats around! Thanks!

I also think this one will be better than the other one. It also has really good reviews. I researched it some before I bought it.

I bought this printer earlier this year. It’s wonderful! Easy to use, and it also will work even with just black ink in it. No need to buy color if you won’t use it. For $29.99 I highly recommend this one

Have you used the scanner on it? I want to buy an inexpensive printer/scanner as a copier for little things but mainly for scanning in old pictures!

I have! I think it’s easy to use. There’s also an app you can download to your phone, and use your phone camera to scan and email it. That’s come in handy a few times as well!

Ink? Does it feel like you are always buying ink wit this printer? TIA

I have the a different HP printer with Instant Ink and I love it. The starting level is FREE ink for 15 pages per month (and $1 for another 10 pages if you need it) I don’t print a lot, so 15 pages is more than enough and I never have to pay for ink!!! If you print more, you can pay a monthly fee for 50 pages or more. The bottom of the page in this link explains it better: https://instantink.hpconnected.com/us/en/l/
If you don’t want the Instant Ink program, you are still able to purchase your own cartridges.

Dumb question…do I need it connected to a computer at all? Our computer bit the dust and we haven’t replaced yet. I would love to print from my phone, if possible.

No need to physically connect to a computer 🙂 I have this printer and absoluetly LOVE the ease of using it. I am able to print straight from my phone without the need of a computer. I paid $79.99 for mine about a year ago so this is a great price. I am tempted to pick up another one because the price is so good!
