Just wanted to let you and readers know about an experience our family had with Vtech.

We purchased the baby monitor from Target’s 2017 Black Friday sale last year that was also highlighted on Hip2Save. At the time the reviews on the monitor were decent so we went ahead and purchased the monitor for our child that was to be born in January.

We just recently started using the monitor when our child started sleeping in their own room and after a few months of use the monitor broke. I looked up reviews on the monitor again and they were horrible. A lot of other people had experienced similar issues. I called customer service this morning and because it had been purchased within a year it was under warranty for the specific problem we were having and the company is sending us a brand new upgraded baby monitor. No hassle at all! I just had to provide my address and they are sending a new monitor this week!

Just thought I would share this in case other parents had similar issues with the monitor they purchased around this time last year. We were so impressed with the customer service and how the situation was handled! Hope this helps!

    Motorola monitors have been fabulous for us. They sent a free replacement when a storm fried ours. Definitely recommend them as well! I didn’t even save my receipt and they were still gracious enough to send a new one.

    Same – me & a few friends all got one last year Black Friday deal, all had issues but they sent us all a new monitor also.

    Wow thank you Hip2save & others that commented. I also purchased this monitor & it started acting up. I thought I was just out. I will call them Monday! Love my Hip2save!

    I don’t recommend motorola baby video monitor. I got it like 6 months ago for the first time for my baby number 4 when it was on clearence but started using it in September after 2 weeks sound system was not working. Called motorola customers service they said warranty is over because serial number shows it was on shelf for 1 year Or until i submit the receipt. I lost the receipt while moving to other city.
    They offer No help.
    Disappointed

    We had the EXACT same thing happen! Bought last November, baby didn’t move upstairs until October and it just stopped charging. Didn’t recognize the charger and it’s the only way to keep it charged! I was sent a new one through FedEx in 2 days!!! They must have had a bad batch of them go out all at the same time to Target.

    I purchased this exact monitor setup from Target from BF 2017. The monitor screen stopped working in June. I guess I’ll try reaching out to Vtech as well. Thanks for sharing 🙂

    I bought the same monitor and have had no problems with it. Good to know the customer service is good though.

    Ok, I have this same monitor, I just called to replace mine and they said that I only had 30 days from the purchase to return mine. (?) Mine has the same charging issue. What did you all say to the representative to get a new one???
