My sister has this and let me tell you it picks up everything! While we were out she got a notification and she checked her phone to see it was a bumblebee flying near the camera which alerted her..same for the deer in her front yard. Pricey but awesome!!

The ring doorbell needs to be hardwired though right? We don’t have an existing doorbell in our old house so I don’t want to deal with having to hardwire it.
Kay, there is a battery, so it does NOT have to be hardwired( it would just need to be charged more).
