This is a great price on the kit. My neurologist informed me of the health screening kit after I had been going to specialists for years without much help. I was able discover more information by visiting https://www.knowyourgenetics.com/ I recently took the results to my primary care doctor. She was very interested and was able to order specific lab work based on the 23&me results.
I’ve been waiting for this to go on sale! Thanks!!!
Oh perfect! You’re so welcome!
What is the difference between this and what’s on sale at Target?
This has the health screening as well
Thank you!! I’ve been so anxious for this to go on sale!! I’m so glad I didn’t miss it!
I’m glad too, Jessa! You’re welcome!
Hi all. CVS also has a 23 and Me Personal Genetic Service kit, not sure how it differs from the Amazon one, for $29.99 with $29.99 back in rewards, so it’s like you are getting it for free! 🙂
I can’t find the one on Amazon for $29. Where is it?
Hi Tracy. The one for $29.99 is at CVS with $29.99 back in ExtraBucks Rewards. It is advertised on the front page of their Black Friday ad.
The cvs one doesn’t end at the 29.99 charge…. after you buy it you go online choose either the Ancestry Service for $69 or the Health + Ancestry Service for $169. This amazon deal is definitely best if you want the health screening.
Thank you! There seems to be 3 different kits then. There is the expensive one that includes health, there is a box that says welcome to you on it that is on sale everywhere for about $50 and then the one at CVS that says personal ancestry service that is only $19 at Walmart. Anyone know the difference?
This was $10 at Walgreens after points and with their clipped coupon.
I’m curious to know more abt the one on sale at Walgreens. Anyone know?
The Walgreens one is just the kit. It doesn’t include the lab fee to get the results. Then there are two sets of results: Genealogy and medical. Some kits only include one. This includes both.
The CVS one is not a bad deal. For black friday, lab fees are cheaper. Im registering mine now and lab prices are $49 for ancestry or $119 for health & ancestry
How does this compare to the Ancestry sale of $49? I didn’t realize there were so many differences
Ancestry.com is the best choice if you’re primarily interested in your ancestry. They have more geographical detail and can connect you to more family members than any of the other companies. 23andme is a better choice if you’re also interested in the health information, but it isn’t as great on the ancestry portion. This is a fantastic deal for those that want all of the health information. I’m gonna grab one 🙂
