Don't miss a beat this Black Friday! Bookmark this page!In all the years I have been blogging, I must admit that the Black Friday online deals have not been very impressive this year. It seems like the deals that happened on Wednesday and Thursday (Thanksgiving) of this week were better than the deals posted today, 11/23, Black Friday. 🤔 However, our teams did have two TOP picks from today…

In addition, we’re gearing up for Cyber Monday and keeping our fingers crossed that the deals will be much better than today’s deals so that we can get our holiday shopping done! 🤞🏻 And don’t forget that our team will be posting deals 24/7 through Cyber Monday to bring you all the latest deals!

Speaking of deals, have you scored any awesome Black Friday deals, either online or in-store? If so, we want to hear ALL about them! On the flip side, I have also received several emails from readers who are searching for the best deals on certain items and looking for tips and tricks on how to save the most. SO…

Let’s help each other out – that’s what Hip2Save is all about!

If you have a great deal or bargain that you’ve snagged today or this Black Friday week, please share it in the comments below. If you’re looking for a specific item or deal, please mention it below and hopefully another Hip2Save reader will come to the rescue!

H&M for their 30% off. Got my daughter a cute Christmas Dress for $5.
Sears: in our area going out of business, so 80% off clothing. got plain t-shirts for vinyl for $.80
Gamestop: tried to get the Mario cart bundle for switch, picture showed Mario cart next to it, placed an order (all while site crashing and coming back. Turns out, I ordered the wrong one. Lucky for me I took a photo of what I had ordered. it was a glitch in the system for all of a minute I happened to be on for. Wrote them with the photo and they just sent me a $60 credit code to go with my $50 gift card and switch!
Project Fi with google: $99 Moto G6 , you have to activate it within 30 days, but per the rep I chated with online, there is no time frame it has to be active for so activate then immediately cancel. I am already a project fi. customer. so super easy for me. I am going to give it to my 8 year old to use like a ipod/video camera/camera. I also found out you can get data only SIM cards for free, then share the data on my account.

Our family wanted to enjoy some time together so I bought Cinemark super saver movie tickets from Costco and went to see Wreck -It-Ralph Breaks the Internet (awesome movie!) but that was only my second favorite “buy” today. The first was Starbucks BOGO frap that we picked up on the way home 🙂 I actually beat the rush and bought iPad, newest model 128 GB certified open box from Best Buy’s pre-Black Friday deal a few weeks ago for $312.99, original price $429.99!

  3. Joy

I stayed home this year. Nothing really interested me. I did sign up for the 99 cent Hulu and got the furkids the 30oz Temptations cat treats for $7.17 on Amazon.

  4. Annette

Lowe’s had a $79 7.5 ft Xmas tree that is gorgeous!!!! I got the last one in the store and they only had been opened for half hour! If they had a 10 ft one I would have gotten that too and wouldn’t go cut our other Xmas tree! Thanks for all you do!

  5. Artist Mom

If anyone takes advantage of the Hulu subscription offer I just noticed Ibotta is offering $10 for new Hulu subscribers.

    • The Deal

Thanks. Can you explain the details? I’m having trouble getting the $10. ibotta takes me to hulu through ibotta app, but it never launches the hulu app.

  6. Sunny

I found some incredible online clothing deals at Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off Fifth, and Woolrich! I also signed up for Hulu — thanks H2S!

  7. Geo

Wasn’t planning to do any shopping but could not pass up the Hulu subscription! Thanks as always Hip2Save!

  8. Andrea

I was impressed by Big 5 shoe and sporting deals. I’ve never been there for BF. Got a great Wilson basketball for $12. Nike shoes (men’s) for $30.

  9. Chris in Miami

I’ve been eyeballing a Manfrotto Travel tripod for awhile and FINALLY I got one. Black Friday price drop of $90 regular price $239, so I got it for $149 plus there’s rebate for a FREE gorilla tripod worth $119.00. I’ve also wanted gorilla tripod as well and I was waiting on a price drop, but hey FREE is even better. This deal is on BHphoto.com

  10. Ming

Got 2 XBOX 360 refurbished from gamestop for free after rebate. Also went to outlet and got MK wallets for men $25 already with tax. I’m content!

    • Lindsey

How did you find the Xbox? Was it in store only?

  11. Jessi

    $59 Fitbit ace and I got a $15 kohl’s cash; $40 off $100 at Maurice’s so I got 3 nice tops for $60; Victoria’s Secret sports bras- got 2 for $52.

  12. Kay

I got 2 ring spotlight cameras for $250 from Best Buy!

  13. Lori Knowles

Almost didn’t go out but I ended up meeting my daughters. My best deal was I won a $500 Lowes gift card. They had a deal that you text “SAVE” to a number. The promotion was from 6-8am. I needed a grill and almost bought one last weekend. They had a $179 one on sale yesterday for $89 so we went for that, but the manager said they had run out and they had replaced it with $189 grills.. So I got a grill free and have $400 left at Lowes. I bought bogo pj’s at Victoria’s secrets and the bras were 40% off and that’s about all I got.

    • Amanda

Congratulations! Man I’m green with envy. We need a new fence. lol

      • lorismithknowles

I need to finish my fence and need a new kitchen. $500 goes fast 🙂

    • Samii

I once got a $500 herburgers gift card on Black Friday. The best Black Friday deal is winning. Glad you won. 😁

  14. Julia

Most of my best deals came from Best Buy this year. The $100 Barbie Dreamhorse for $34.99 and the $22 Mega Blocks Elephant parade for $7.99. I start my Christmas shopping on Dec 26th, so I usually don’t need much on Black Friday as I have 90% of it done by Black Friday.

  15. T

Thank you for all your hard work finding these deals. I appreciate you and your team!

  16. Nicole

I got the $100 Barbie horse for $35 from Best Buy for my daughter and I treated myself to the animal Dyson from Kohl’s and got $90 Kohl’s cash 😀

  17. YG

Roku Ultra and Huluplus. Awesome deal!

  18. Joy

We found a bell at World Market and got a $50 coupon! My husband is from Venezuela and people are starving and suffering over there. The toys were all b1g1 and my girls decided to use the $50 to buy toys for children in Venezuela. We got $100 worth of toys to send over to them!! Honestly melted my heart that my girls thought of others before themselves and made me very proud.

    • Patty d

      This is wonderful Merry Christmas!!

  19. Susie

I had just canceled my Kindle Unlimited membership on Tuesday to try to save a little money through the holidays, and then I got an email from Amazon yesterday with a promotion for new or returning members to get 3 months of Kindle Unlimited for $ .99! I figured I probably didn’t qualify, but it worked for me! So I canceled for 3 days and ended up with 3 months for $.99 instead of $29.97. This was my favorite Black Friday deal 😀

I was able to get a $29 Eureka vacuum, $30 ottoman, $10 Farberware “k-cup” coffeemaker, $24 king size 1100 thread count sheets from Walmart.com on Wednesday when they had their online sale. We used to go every year to the store on Thanksgiving, but being 8 months pregnant, I really didn’t feel like it lol. So I couldn’t get some of the deals (like movies, pajamas, etc.) since they were in store only, but I got the few things I truly wanted from the comfort of my home 🙂

    • AS18

I signed up for Kindle Unlimited again. Thanks for posting!

      • Susie

        You’re welcome!

  20. Chris

I did the Hulu $0.99 deal through Swagbucks and received 2500 points (basically $28 when I redeem the points for $25 Amazon gift card, then a $3 Amazon gift card). If you do the Swagbucks deal it takes you to a page for $5.99 a month, click on the Hulu image and it takes you to the front page where you sign up for the 99 cent a month service. I did this and received my 2500 points within a few minutes.

    • Susie

Thank you so much for posting this! I was able to do this deal following your instructions and got the points immediately. I had a few points already so I ended up with $30 in Amazon gift cards. I appreciate it so much!

      • Chris

You are welcome! Glad I could help. It took me a minute or two to figure out how to get the 99 cents to show up as an option.

        • Natalie

What did you do to get the .99 option available? It’s only showing me the 5.99.

          • Susie

As soon as you click the deal from Swagbucks and it takes you to Hulu, click on the Hulu logo at the top. You should then see the $.99 option.

          • HEATHER W

click the “hulu” logo on the 5.99 page

        • Susie

Yes, it took me a minute even with your instructions…haha!

    • Meredith

How long does it take for swagbucks to recognize the Hulu purchase?

      • Diane

        Mine was almost immediately.

    • AS18

Thank you! I haven’t used swagbucks in years and still had some points. Redeemed for $30 in gift cards!

    • muquee

Worked exactly as you posted. Thank you SO much!

  21. Ivonne

I bought a Nike Therma Swoosh hoodie for $23 (before tax) at Nike.com. I’m so excited, I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping and it’s all thanks to you guys!!

  22. Amanda

I got some good deals at Kohl’s, Carter’s and Dick’s yesterday. The kids are ready for the snow now! 😁

  23. Lisa

Thank you for all the information you provide on this website! I saved two $5 Starbucks gift cards I received from Verizon up. I paired it yesterday with the bogo Frappuccinos and my total came to 10 cents!

    • LISA

      *after buying 4 Frappuccinos

  24. Tiff

I bought my reoccurring dog and pet food. Buying it on sale and then reoccurring will save me easily $30+ a month compared to my Amazon subscribe and save.

  25. NOW

Didn’t do much black Friday shopping per say..but I went “freebie shopping”. I used my free item coupon at Bath & body works. I bought a handsanitizer for 1.75 got a hand lotion for $13.50, so 1.75 fir both not too shabby. Spent my $15 frecash at sears. Got matching pjs for hubby and I and 2 pairs of socks, out of pocket grand total .68. Used my $10 from VS grabbed 2 PINK $6 lotion and body mist grand total $2.00. They had bathbombs for $1 but only 2 left so I passed on those. I have been scoring the echo dots and google mini for very low cost thanks to you! Oh I ordered new sheets online from Kmart yesterday. I took advantage of the 100% points offer so I should be getting back $50 in points. I will use those to score matching family pjs 🙂

  26. KP

I got two accent chairs from Target.com that were 40% plus 15% plus my red card 5% so they came to $105 each!. Three Graco 4evers (target at 3AM), and two Graco extend2fits(Amazon)— grandparents are ready when baby #2 outgrows his infant carrier! I had to create a new amazon prime free trial for hubby because you could only order one per account! Ornaments for 4.99 per tube at AtHome.

  27. amy111

I spent a total of $12 yesterday! I was on a mission to use my Kohl’s $10 mailer, $10 mailer from JCP, used my $15 syw points and ordered a pizza from Dominoes using my $5 code from quickly. I had a terrible times with the excisions, and had to settle with clothes for my youngest for Christmas. It’s ok though…my main goal was to spend the least amount on my 5 year old so I can save it for my teenager. All and all, 2 whole outfits, a small appliance, a large Play-doh set and a large pizza is pretty good for $12 🙂

  28. Carrie

The Hulu deal was my favorite! Also loved Lowe’s gift card deal this year. Used it on one of those tester sized containers of paint and a little poinsinetta for our daycare provider and it didnt cost me anything out of pocket. Loved JCP’s $10 off $10. Got a red tablecloth and a pillow for $3 out of pocket. Liked Sears $15 off $15 picked up a really nice toy for my son for $5 out of pocket. Wish that Amazon did the $5 credit towards a print book with the slower shipping everyday that was a great deal too! Surprisingly, I think the best deal on a 70” tv and laptop was Sam’s November sale a couple of weeks ago.

  29. Jolene

Just scored Madden NFL 19 at Gamestop for $27.00 and went thru Ebates for cash back. Awesome deal. Also, took advantage of the 30% off at Plant Therapy – awesome quality essential oils.

  30. Lori

I buy several things online the morning of Thanksgiving every year so I don’t have to deal with the craziness of Black Friday. I got several deals at Dicks, Kohls, Walmart and Target online. I went on Friday morning to Walmart to try and get 2 $400 gift cards for the iphones but it was a complete unorganized mess and I left after about 15 minutes. I ended up at Target where there was hardly a wait and got 2 $250 gift cards for the iphones plus two 20% off coupons for a future purchase. I used some of the gift cards to buy the accessories needed for the phones and will use the rest to buy gifts.

  31. Brianna

Mine was getting Shopkicks! I earned enough for a $5 gift card.

  32. Kidsallgone

On my app it says there are 191 comments but when I click on the deal, only 39 comments show up. What am I doing wrong (on my phone)?

    • jenng

Yes now I see that too….nowhere near that many comments are showing up. Although I’m VERY excited to see that I can now get to the comments without waiting over 1 minute for anything to display! That issue is finally fixed it seems. we just need them all to display =)

  33. Lau

When our hip team posts that the deals this Black Friday weren’t impressive that says a lot! And I couldn’t agree more! I did however find a great deal on my Go Macro Health bars .. 40% off and free shipping. Sweet deal!

  34. Melissa

New SET of skiis/boots/poles for my teenage son at Scheels! All for the price of skiis-$329…Not to mention we sold his old set for $150 to put towards new set!! This ends up being half price, actually less with our sale of old set!!

  35. Alissa

Chicos – Went to get my mom a fabulous shirt. It was $55. Store was 40% off. Because I was one of the first 30 people I got a $15, plus $10 birthday coupon made the final cost after tax and their wonky deduction system $13. Felt good to get a great bargain!

  36. Heidi

I’m looking for weighted blankets of various weights.

  37. Lizzie

I’m looking for sales on the kids wrapple toy, hatchimals the colored eggs, and baby Cece from doc mcstuffins.

  38. Sunflower24

Went back to Walmart on Thursday night at around 9:30 pm and the manger marked deals on toys and vacuums , big sets of markers and other stuff extra 50%off, got Calico Critter set with bonus items for $20, a real nice upright vacuum was $14 , Shopvacs was $10

    • Susie

      Wow, that is awesome!

  39. Joanna

Kohl’s: $230 for kitchenaid mixer 5qt Artisan Mixed shipped plus earned $60 Kohls Cash.

Macy’s: 13×9 Martha Stewart Non Stick pan with carrier lid for easy transport $8

    Walmart: Kids bikes $36 each

I did not spot anything out of this world this year, but there were lots of kitchen applicances, cookware, and bakeware deals!!!

  40. Mara

Dicks has 25% off and free shipping, I got my husband the Seahawks hoodie he wanted, saved $25 and free shipping, he’s so hard to shop for I was happy to get him what he wanted

  41. RB

I agree with you Collin. I did not find any deals that were worth it. The only thing I did purchase was the Graco 4Ever car seat on Amazon for $165 very early in the morning. By the afternoon, the price shot up, and Target was also sold out of the seat by then.

  42. Katie

I was very happy to snag a Graco Nautilus car seat that I’d had my eye on for 50% off – saw the BF sales ad pop up from the Target app on my phone on Thanksgiving morning, looked at their deals, and got one shipped to me. Glad I saw it when I did, because when I went to show my husband the deal an hour later, they were sold out!

Honestly nothing got me into the stores this year – everything I wanted was either online or not worth it…

  43. Michelle

Yes, I felt BF sales were a little bit lacking this year too. I usually stock up on dog treats at Petsmart but they really didn’t do anything this year. Best sales were found at Kohl’s (clothing, towels, fleece blankets) and Wal-Mart (towels, electronic accessories.) Found 30% off at Duluth Trading (men’s underwear) but had to spend $100 to get discount. Rubios had $25 gift cards with a free $10 card (Taco Tuesday! 🌮)

  44. v

This may sound silly, but I used my $10 off coupon at Kohls and bought four new pillows. Ended up being about $1.78 for 4 pillows.

    • hamnah

It is not silly. Pillows are important.

  45. Debbie

I got the instant pot from Walmart Wednesday night for $59!

  46. Dawn

I saved a ton of money this year! Because I didn’t do ANY shopping at all! 😝😝😝 We don’t need anything and we are cutting way back on our wants. Nothing we “want” will bring happiness anyway. Next year we are doing another Disneyland trip (without eating inside the park)

  47. Sue

For me it’s the $.99 Hulu offer. $9.50 boots at Target for my daughter & my yearly stock-up of batteries at Lowe’s. For my husband, it was the $28 Norton Security software from Amazon with an extra 3 months & he snagged 1 of the 3 snowblowers they had in stock at Home Depot that were advertised for Black Friday.

  48. Christy

Sears- got boys undershirts for free with $15 off $15

Lowe’s- got Affresh cleaning wipes for free with in store gift card text offer

Kohls- got $400 worth of Food Network flatware/serving utensils for $60 using $40 of Y2U rewards, Black Friday sale prices, online promo codes and 2 in store only coupons and after receiving $45 in Kohls Cash, $10 more Y2U rewards and about $15 of cash back from Ebates. Excited to have flatware that serves 14 and serving utensils too!!!

Major Highlight before Black Friday was trading coupons/codes with fellow H2Ser Nicole- scored $41 worth of toys at Best Buy for $9!!!

  49. Ash

    The weighted blanket from Target.
Took a few tries but it was definitely worth the hassle

  50. Christine

I got ten of the $2 RE towels plus the 6 pack of wash cloths at Target in yellow Thanksgiving night. I had a $10 of $10 JCP purchase from the mail and bought a new handbag for $17. Sephora had a whole bunch of pretty makeup palettes for $10, I bought one with pretty blush and highlighter and a couple of the $10 eyeliners too. I signed up for their rewards program and got the bday freebie too!

I was hoping for a deal on those sous vide gadgets, but none were to be found. Glad to know I’m not the only one disappointed in the BF deals. I got better deals on my instant pot and air fryer back in July with the 40% Kohl’s coupon.
