On youtube most boxes have “box openings” where people record themselves opening the mystery boxes. Search…Unboxing too faced. They can be very helpful when deciding what is the type of stuff is generally in them. Ive watched Ipsy and birchbox etc. Its helped me decide if they are the types of things i would use or experiment with.
Yes, I didnt care too much for some of the stuff . I got purple “these are real” mascara – I wouldn’t wear purple mascara – so have it away. Some were great eyeshadow and well worth the price ! But again, depends how much you like to play with makeup. I’m a very standard girl and wear earth tone colors (except I like various color lipstick shades) so if you’re like me and don’t experiment with various color eyeshadows and so forth – not for you

I’ve done this every year since they started in 2014. The first two years were great. The box was filled with great finds, that were hot commodities. The last two years, it’s been a “bargain bin” haul of items they haven’t sold (the rock n roll palette two years ago, pb & j palette last year). It’s still a great deal but it comes across more as a take this off our hands than the customers getting lucky.
