My daughter wants one of these but I don’t understand do I buy replacement film as well and how much do those last and cost?

You’ll have to buy film packs (10 film exposures per pack). I have this & love it. My local Costco used to sell a box of film for only $30, so you can always find a good deal on film. Just need to look 😃

Yes, they work similar to an old school Polaroid camera. I own one and they are so much fun! A 10 pack of film costs about $10, and they make many different styles now (black, pastel, monochrome and even fun characters on the bottom).

You can get them pretty much anywhere. Walmart, Amazon and eBay.

Film for 20 pictures is $13 at Best Buy. That’s for 2 rolls in a box. Each roll has 10 pics.

      • Tara

Thanks – I just bought 2 packs after I saw this!

Target also has the 60 pack of film for 15% off $50 (42.50) which makes it one of the cheaper options for refills at 71 cents per print. Amazon has the 60 pack of refills cheaper at $37 but I chose target so I can return it if a better deal comes along. HTH.

The replacement film is why I’m leary of getting this. My girls (ages 5, 10 and 12), would go through the 10 pack in 15 minutes! Also, I hear the photos are like the size of a credit card?? I don’t understand the draw to this….

I am thinking the same thing. My 9 year old daughter asked for one. She is gonna go thru film so quick cause its not like she is used to using a real camera, as she uses my smart phone to take a picture. Decisions decisions…

My niece loves hers.. she’s 10 years old. She saves her allowance or any money she earns for the film. My sister (her mom) only gifts this to her for bdays or xmas.. but its so much fun. And its an easy for me (auntie) to gift her addition to other little items.

I have one that we use as a family. We usually only use it on special occasions and vacations. It’s fun. Sometimes the 10 pack of film last for several months. My teenage daughter asked for the fujifilm printer for Christmas. It’s more expensive but you can choose the photo from your phone to print. She usually asks for film for her gifts also so it’s not that bad. And we have a cute collection hanging up with the dates and location written on the bottom.

I just got mine today that I ordered from Kohl’s! This deal is even better! Great gift for someone younger or yourself. I love the old school look of the pictures.

    • Amy

This one doesn’t come with film tho. Kohl’s did! About the same once you count the cost of film!

Any suggestions on how to “repurchase” this? I bought on Black Friday… but now the 15%off!! 😩

    • Sally

      I have the same question!

    • Laurie

just dealt with target chat on my end and had to reorder with 15% off so I will have to return my order that I placed on Thanksgiving. After way to long and her coming back to me about some chair (obviously more than one chat she had going on) and then trying to adjust again she told me I have to reorder due to gift cards involved

      • Sally

thank you very much for sharing!! I think it is worth it to save $7 to by and return. I am at Target so often anyway!

  7. Cruz

Thank You for all your responses!
I appreciate it and now will order a couple for my daughters before this deal ends tonight!

    Subtotal (2 items) $59.99
Discounts -$6.75 (They first subtracted the $15 gift card from the $59.99 because $6.75 is less than 15% off!)
    Today only, additional 15% off
    DeliveryFree
    Estimated tax $4.39

My total comes to 57.63 because Target subtracts the $15 gift card from my total. Instead of 15% off $59.99, they took 15% off $44.99. That left my total over $50. Bummed that they did that instead of taking 15% off the $59.99!
