Since I’m basically done with Christmas shopping, might as well start on Easter, lol! This is super cute!

Same! I bought it for the Easter basket. We’re ahead of the game!

I am hoping someone can help me out. Back in October you posted, “Through November 21st, Target is offering a FREE $10 Target Gift Card when you purchase $50 worth of select LEGO items – online only! No promo code is required as the gift card will be automatically added at checkout.”
I did three separate $50 orders so I received (3) $10 e gift cards. However, when I got my credit card statement last week I noticed three separate charges of $10 from Target on the same day as I ordered the Legos. I chatted with a specialist at Target (first it was a Rep but apparently he told me the wrong info) and was told bc I received a $10 promotional e gift card I got charged $10 on my credit card and I received the Legos at a discount? This makes no sense to me. I thought it was like kohl’s cash (when they offer it) where if you spend $50 you get $10 Kohl’s cash but you are not charged on your Kohl’s credit card.

Can someone explain this to me? Also, did anyone else buy $50 worth of Legos during this promotion and noticed on their credit card statement that they were charged $10? Thank you!

P.S. I was on chat with the two reps for 1 hour and 52 minutes!! No joke!

I was charged the same way- separate $10 but charge for Legos was $10 less, so it balanced out

      • Marie

Oh ok, thank you, I guess this is how Target does it.

Come to think of it, they probably do it because if you return the Legos they will refund you that $10 less amount because they assume you have spent the $10 GC. That way people can’t cheat the system.

Kohl’s will refund you minus the difference if you spend the Kohl’s cash, but Kohl’s doesn’t charge you the $10 on your Kohl’s charge. So frustrating bc I wasn’t aware when I purchases the Legos.

I bought a few for white elephant exchanges and will include a gift card to Chick-Fil-A. Just an idea if anyone is looking for a white elephant/dirty Santa/secret Santa gift to exchange.
