Love this set I have a very hands on toddler and it lasts. Yes itâs more than the typical plastic Christmas trains in stores but the moment you open it youâll see the difference – the remote is nice to control speeds and sounds too plus the Lionel company stands by this one very nice

This train set is great quality. We picked one up from Costco about two months ago and have it set up around our tree. Just make sure you have plenty of C batteries to use on it. It seems like this set will last for years, so this is a great deal.

You are right Karen! We have had this set for 7 years and it’s still going strong! It takes 6 C’s at a time and one set is never enough to make it until Christmas if you plan to use it!

This set does last and handles wear and tear nicely! We purchased for our son at Christmas when the polar express was at the top of his list. He was five and is now twelve! It goes under our tree every year and gets tons of play (even running into Lego figures placed on the track :O) We love it! Paid 59.99 at Ollies Bargain Outlet when all others were priced over $100! Best gift ever!
