This is a great deal. I have owned my 8TB drive now for over a year and it works great. If you’re using it on your home network your current router most likely won’t be able to handle this drive. To save you some time, there are very few routers which can handle this drive, but I use a MY NET N900 router and it handles the drive just fine.
I have this brand of external hard drive in a 4TB and 2TB. It’s very easy to use and is still working for over 5 years now! If you’re looking for a large drive, I would definitely recommend this one! 🙂
