Bigger bowl and larger amp motor. Depends what you’re mixing. Standard cakes and cookies the smaller is fine. I also mix pasta and pizza dough in my smaller one.
What’s a good normal sale price? We don’t need now but it would be nice to have once we build our house… debating on getting now or just waiting.. I can get the 5qt for $210 or the 4.5qt for $131…

I’ve often wondered how many people who own this type of mixer actually use it. Whoever is driving the marketing behind these is a freaking genius.
I have had one for 19 years and I use it a LOT. Easily several times a month, and at holiday times it just stays out all season because its always being used.
I can’t get the price that low, it no longer is on sale. Any one else with the same problem?
