How do people abuse it? Whenever there’s any deals. I always hear managers saying a lot of customers come in and ‘’abuse it’’ so we stop accepting coupons. How do you abuse it? I feel like they say that and blame it on the customers so the managers can keep the deals for themselves

      Hi Judy,
Your question is posted on a page for a sale at Target, but I don’t see any reference on the page to coupon abuse. However, I worked retail for many years and might be able to answer this question.
Some customers will use multiple coupons to buy out the entire stock of a product on sale which leaves nothing left for anyone else. When this happens, the managers are left to deal with angry customers who cannot participate in the offer.
People who buy out the entire inventory with multiple coupons are often reselling the product online for the original retail price.
