At my Kohl’s, I got a Letter to Santa card as the surprise. My daughter is 18 months and can’t even tell me what to write. I’ll try to save it for the future… The Santa was great, though!
We got the same surprise last weekend. Pros- there was absolutely no line so my girls got to take their time which was awesome! Cons- the Santa was not very realistic at all. He was maybe 35 and kept adjusting his beard and changing his voice back and forth between Santa and his own. My five-year-old suspects something now haha… she keeps asking me questions about that Santa. It was fun and free though and everyone’s Santa will be different of course!
That happened to us a few years ago and my son started questioning like crazy (at age 3!) we just told him all the Santa’s we see at the mall and other places are Santa helpers because there is no way the real Santa could leave the North Pole this close to Christmas!

I’ve actually told my oldest that the ones at the malls are helpers, but that Santa does occasionally show up. I always go to the same mall because the gentleman who works there, we’ve gotten him 3 years in a row and she believes he is the real one, and she’s 9 ❤️
Aww. Just know this definitely is not a professional santa. Its basically any available male employee at kohls playing Santa but to me it sure beats paying $30 anywhere else.
Yes! In college, I used to work at Rite Aid. One year my good friend that also worked there had to dress up as Santa. He was probably 18 or 19 at the time.
Yes, it is just a Kohl’s employee- I know this because my 17 year old nephew is the Santa at our local Kohl’s! LOL
Are adults allowed to get there picture taken without children?
I went last week and saw one of the kohls employees taking a picture with Santa. But it was empty with no kids in line.

What do I do with the FAO Schwarz Santa Claus letter it’s addres to the North Pole no postage but that’s fine I’m just curious as to this special while supplies last thing I mean I look at it and it’s just a piece of paper the lady that gave it to us didn’t tell us anything about it
