I am trying to buy the friends car wash and the bean there donut that. When I add them to my cart it tells me I will get $9 off for the cartwheel. But when I try to add a third LEGO to get the gift card it takes my discount down to $7.21. Is anybody else having this problem?

Also in your scenarios that you posted, target is not giving you the full 20% off for the cartwheels. The first one should be 43.98 before tax and the other one should be 47.98 before tax.
