Here are a few readers comments:

I have this mop, love it!!! I have dark , glossy hardwood (big mistake) it always looks dirty. I can’t even use a swiffer as you can see the haze from the chemicals. I don’t have that problem with this mop. I use distilled water = zero haze!

Me, my sister, and my mom all have this exact steam mop and love it! I’d definitely recommend it, especially at this price. It’s so much easier and effective than regular mops or a Swiffer.

I purchased this steam mop about a year ago… I LOVE IT!!! Tile and linoleum are cleaned in no time flat. My floors are SO CLEAN! One thing, after use, take the water vessel out of the slot and empty any remaining water; I put a folded paper towel in the bottom of it. Previously I left it in with water in it and it got suctioned in there; when I pulled it out, it pulled the nozzle off. I thought it was broken, but I emailed Bissell and they sent me the part that I needed, no questions asked, except for a picture of the part!

Bought this 6 months ago, worked great then it must have gotten clogged and water would leak out of steam vent like crazy. Contacted the company, just got my new replacement yesterday free of charge, customer service is great and not much hassle. New one works awesome, recommend!

I own this and love it!! It works so well, and has no waste, since the mop heads just go in the wash!

Oh awesome! That is a great feature! Thanks for the feedback, Micala!

I also own this exact one and LOVE.
I have been through a couple of different models and loved them all BUT I will say, to get the most life out of the machine, you really should probably use distilled water and after each use, make sure you are letting the dispenser dry out. Highly recommend.

This is a great steam mop: lightweight and effective. I’m not overly impressed with the scrubber feature. Definitely use distilled water as recommended.

I have had this for a couple years and LOVE it. However I wanted to pass along a warning…. I had my hardwoods replaced this past summer. Prior to, the flooring company owner came by house and was looking at my existing hardwoods and immediately asked me if I used a steamer mop. He said he could see “waviness” in the flooring and it is almost always caused by long term steamer use. So while I thought I was doing a killer job of cleaning my floors, I was actually ruining them little by little over time. Tile, linoleum, and luxury vinyl plank can all handle the steamer mops with no problems, according to them. Just something to think about.

Oh bummer! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us, Jen! Good to know how it worked on your floors!

I loooove this steam mop as well. I used to despise mopping but now I kinda enjoy it ha! I use the steam on my tile floors and even on my tile shower walls – yes all the way up! The scrubber thing actually did an amazing job on my dirty grout – just kinda had to use extra pressure with my foot. Also like PP said, don’t use on real hardwood floors. I will say that I do use the mop (not plugged in) with a squirt bottle of method hardwood floor cleaner or homemade cleaner safe for wood. I like that the head is wider and angled compared to a swiffer and of course the reusable pads. I paid double this amount and thought that was a good deal! Oh also just add a couple drops of your fav essential oil to the pad and your whole house smells awesome!

I had this for three months and the steam did not really work and customer service was no help. I don’t recommend this. The shark is ten times better.
